I think the truth is long gone. Each player has their own "truth" now, as we have seen. We will never know for sure what happen to that child.

Really? Then why is it such a big question in so many people's posts the methods that TN is using to SAVE HALEIGH as you put it?
It becomes apparent that the sword cuts only one way for so many people. TN asked MN to come in; he asked TM to come in......now Tm has exposed the crud existing and expects people to stand up and accept responsibility.

Then he should also accept responsibility for not checking out Hank Sr.'s voice mail personally before he played it online just to embarrass RC.
He gave himself bad publicity just as he did when he tried to force Grandparents of a missing child to accept that the child was deceased. JMHO

That's exactly what I was thinking. I think that she is scared of RC and is covering up something that RC is involved in. I think that RC is the mastermind behind MC story and is trying to keep the spotlight off of him, so to speak. She is doing exactly what he wants her to do. She is afraid of him and I think that is why she married him. I don't think it was her idea, it was RC's idea to marry. I know we heard the results of MC poly but did we hear about RC's results?

I do not know the laws, but can't the police arrest her if she runs? Wouldn't that be probable cause for an arrest?

Can't LE put somthing out on her as a flight risk? (you know, like they do before you go to court and LE is afraid the person will take off and not appear in court.

It's not TM's responsibility to check out Hank Sr.'s voicemail. He put it out there for everyone to hear. Evaluate it for yourself. He apologized for misunderstanding and it's over. He has no interest in embarrassing anyone. His interest is getting Haleigh found. If it takes wading through all the crud and placing all "their" cards on the table, then so be it. I hardly think that if you weigh the impact of the key players in this case to TM making a mistake of how he reported it and then apologized right away, that it holds much value in comparison of importance. TM is not the issue, never has been. Keep the focus on the missing child. That's what he's trying to accomplish here.

He didn't try to force Grandparents of a missing child to accept that the child was deceased. He didn't know that at the time. All he asked for was that they open their minds to the distinct possibility that she could be deceased and didn't he turn out to be right????????

If in fact LE has proof that she was not home that night, they should have her cell pings by now and back in the beginning of the case it was said that someone came forward and told LE she was not home. So, would that not be considered child neglect? I don't see why they have not started there, if they were to put her in jail I think she would crack. I just read the other day of another young girl in Fl who was sentenced as an adult. So I don't see why they would treat Misty any different. Lock her up I say and she will talk....:behindbar

Excellent, excellent question! And there is an answer. If Misty tells the truth it will make complete sense and the whole world will believe her. It will not be confusing or misleading it will just make sense. Pure and simple. In my opinion we know that the truth is in her somewhere. Her supporters want us to believe that if she was asleep she doesn't have the answers that everyone wants. But, in my opinion that just isn't true. There would be one account of her evening and she would remember it as well as the color of her own eyes.

By the way I am a believer in forgiveness and if she decides to be honest and help with the investigation she may have a chance at life. This girl is only 17. I hate to say girl but she is! She is 1 and 1/2 years younger than my oldest child!

SS, you have read my theories so many times. LE does not know when the crime against Haleigh WAS committed. Ron could still directly be involved. This 'at work' thing doesn't exclude him from being culpable in this crime in the least.

And I think it is only a stretch to continue to include him when he has an alibi because it fits a theory. Sorry, but come on... Dry drowning and the rest of it?

I will continue to argue that whatever happened to Haleigh happened between the hours of 8:00pm - 3:00am while Ronald was KNOWN to be at work and could not have anything to do with her disappearance until there is some proof (which I have not seen one thing yet). LE doesn't know when something took place with Haleigh between THOSE hours specifically and are not saying something happened before then at all. No, they don't know what crime was committed or when...but they do know they have 8 hours in question for the crime...whatever it is...to have occurred! The result is Haleigh is gone.

My guess is the person who "came forward" with such a tip had no real knowledge if she was at home or not. (I can well imagine what group reported that one.) If it was an actual witness, they would have treated it differently. Evidently, they cannot find anything to substantiate it and why they have asked for others to provide them with proof. They cannot put her in jail because of a rumor.
