IDK guys. I'm getting a Doug Stewart vibe about the gym. Also reminds me of Chris Coleman trying to use the gym as an alibi. Everyone knows a gym has cameras.

Just wait, the store receipt will show she bought stuff to make s'mores like Josh Powell. (Snarky kidding of course)

I'm just glad that the dust is settling and the picture is getting clearer here.

Can I just quibble for a moment?

Ear infections and earaches are very different things...the OP says "earache" and not "ear infection."

And with a relatively non-verbal 18-19 month old, earache symptomology is pretty close to headache, or 'fussy', or teething...whereas an infection is rather different.

And I've driven for hours - hours - to get a baby sleeping, and to keep her asleep...

(This fence is really starting to poke my fanny...)

Ok I will give you a gimme (like a 6 inch putt to the hole between friends)...my kids had lots of really ugly days as toddlers and not knowing what was wrong I would agree that ''sometimes'' a drive would settle them down. But as you point out a non verbal toddler is not able to help us in figuring out whether they are (a) teething (b) having a headache or (c) having an earache...

From my limited experience with 3 darlings (thank goodness we all survived their toddler years and they are full grown adults now LOL) an earache became an ear infection within hours and needed antibiotics. I never got off lightly with ''just'' an earache -- it became something else. Once I got the antibiotics into them -- then they became more docile and amenable to a car ride. Generally speaking, with an earache just the 10 minute drive to the dr and the pharmacy was sheer hell

between 8:45 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. she ran errands at local grocery stores and can prove it.

Between 10:10 in the morning and 11:39, Terri said she drove her daughter Kiara around on rural roads in the family’s white truck because Kiara had an earache. She said she was trying to soothe the toddler with the motion of the vehicle.

I think LE should be looking at the entire time from 8:45 to 11:39 (if her gym checked out). She could have a receipt that she bought something at the store at 10:10, but like someone else said - Kyron could have been in the back of the truck while she bought something to dispose of him in. Wonder if there was a tarp or anything like that in the back of the truck.

back seat would work as well if she gave him something to knock him out for awhile and she could put him on the floor under a blanket or clothes or her gym bag.

I'm with you Ruby Red -- three kids (lots of earaches) -- no way -- only thing that worked was the hair dryer AND antibiotics LONG TRUCK rides in a bumpy 4X4 worked for colic -- heck of a big difference - the disturbance with equilibrium (earache) and a car ride would make me nauseous:croc:

THANK YOU! I know I'm always referring to my own experiences, but when my son first went into daycare, it was ear infections galore. We even had to get tubes.

How did she know the baby had an earache? Did she tell her? My son just screamed at that age (I'm thinking under 2 here), and then there was the tell-tale fever, and the eventual trip for antibiotics. Then immediately back home.

How many mothers out there soothe an earache on a baby by driving around on rural roads for over an hour. That child must have been horrified (if this is in fact true -- which I doubt).

Anyway, I always remember the trip/ride to the doctor was the worst, as my son wanted to be held. You can hardly do that driving on those bumpy roads.

Wonder what she was up to!

If all this is true, and there was a handoff or disposal by Terri, seems like it would have had to have been planned. I heard someone say that there could even have been a pre-dug site... and that makes sense. But if that is how it was, why would she roam around? Maybe the planned site had someone nearby innocently then had to chose another way?

Or if the driving around aimlessly was a ruse to explain out of the way cell phone pings, wouldn't it have been easier to just left the phone at home? If it was preplanned that is. Or if something did happen to Kyron while in her care unexpectedly... wouldn't she at least be smart enough to return back to her house and leave her cell there? To at least be able to say she was home...

Maybe I'm trying too hard to find some criminal sophistication LOL

Question:

Terri was at the gym around 11:00/11:30am, right?

DeDe supposed left sometime after 11:00am when doing the gardening thing.

So people have narrowed down the suspicious window to about 30minutes?

Doesn't that mean they wouldn't have had time to be seen together leaving SI, as was said?

And what time did Kaine say he got home that day? I wonder if he called Terri to let her know he was coming home early and that's why she got home before him. (I wonder if he felt the hood of the truck to see how long she'd been home---lol.)

I'd have to agree -- an earache always turned into an infection if left untreated (for us anyway). Do we know if the baby ever saw a doctor?

He said in an interview that he got home around two.
Although I thought I'd read just before he talked about it that he had gotten home "just before" two, and got there just after Terri. (well, just after meaning a time span of about 20 min.)

I'd often wondered if Kaine didn't call her and let her know he was otw home.
Then she returns home immediately.

I think I'm just trying to hard to make sense of any of this tbh.

For some reason my mind can't even process the timeline between Terri and DeDe.

The thing I don't believe is that she drove the baby around to try and soothe her because the baby had an earache. In what universe does driving a toddler around cure an earache? I have 7 kids and that part of TH's timeline had me doing a complete WTH??? :waitasec: If your child has an earache, try using numbing drops and/or flushing the ear to remove a wax plug. If the ear doesn't feel better, then take the child to the doctor. But driving around aimlessly and thinking a child is going to fall asleep with an earache makes zero sense to me.

The person whose husband suggested that maybe she traded Kyron as payment for the MFH plot might be on to something. As horrible as that sounds, maybe it's plausible.

You could be on to something. We recently had a case here on the boards where the mom sold her daughter to some pedo. Sorry, it's late and I forgot the little girl's name.

Bless,

Mel

Driving around is not going to cure an earache, so I'm assuming it was meant to lull the baby to sleep. But then wouldn't the baby still have the earache when she woke up? So was the baby at the gym daycare with an earache? Earaches are painful, would you leave a fussy baby at the gym day care? And if she were the doting mom her friends portray her as, wouldn't she be more concerned with the baby than with working out? Doesn't make sense to me.

One more thing that bugs me. If baby K had an earache, what happened upon returning home. Did TH hand off the baby to KH and then get on the computer? Was the baby asleep by that time. That would be a long time for a little one to go without a change or a feed. Did TH tell KH that baby K wasn't feeling well? Did she tell him about that 1 hour drive?

I'd sure like to know the answers to those questions. I think baby K's schedule could be of importance here.

At 11:39 a.m., Terri checked in at a 24-hour Fitness in Beaverton on Waterhouse Avenue and worked out for about an hour until 12:40 p.m.

By 1:21, Terri said she'd traveled home - a distance of nearly 11 miles - and was posting photos on Facebook she'd taken that morning of Kyron standing with his science project and of his friend, K, standing with his.

Shaniya -- that story galvanized all of us -- the mom ''allegedly'' sold her 5 yr old daughter who was found murdered and assaulted. (video from hotel caught perp carrying daughter - currently awaiting trial)

Doesn't make sense to me either, and I've been doling out benefit of the doubt right & left for weeks.

DY said she believes Kyron is alive. Could the two women have done something else with Kyron? I mean, what would you do with a little boy???

I'm still hoping for a miracle here guys. Help me out!

Kimster..............I've felt for a long time that Kyron was likely deceased. But, the information in the past 24 hours about the three houses being searched, and Kaine and Desiree's optimism, has made me more optimistic that there's a good possibility that Kyron is being hidden somewhere. Someplace remote that has no phone, with a minimum of two people who are constantly watching to see that he doesn't escape.

Motive? It all revolves around her relationship with Kaine. If it's true that she tried to arrange a MFH late last year..........well, it's something she's thought about. If something should happen to Kaine, she'd end up with the house and all Kaine's assets, plus her daughter and the stepson she had raised. Like most crimes, it all comes down to money.

There's missing pieces to the puzzle..................

We have TH driving aimlessly around back roads, for which she gives a lame reason and her friend just happens to leave work and is unaccounted for. This all happens on the day Kyron goes missing. I think the pieces of this puzzle is starting to come together and it isn't a pretty picture.

The truth has a ring to it, hence the saying. This contrived timeline is so convoluted...it doesn't have the ring of truth. It is confusing instead of clear, that's why I don't buy it. Truth has an inherent clarity.

It's turned into a cat and mouse mystery game between LE and TH. It's a "catch me if you can" and prove it. LE is finding the holes in the alibi and plugging them with the facts they can glean. I do believe a person can be arrested on a murder charge without a body.

Poor, innocent, vulnerable Kyron. Whatever happened to him is evil and ugly.

This is as close as I can get. Also the sheriff's department had dive teams on the island and searchers for days. I think I heard (with one ear tuned to the NG show tonight) them discussing Terri's cell phone pings on the island too. Anyhow, link below refers to the Willamette Week article about LE officials claiming Terri's phone pinged on the island which shows she was there and is different than her story to them.

Second link is by James Pitkin, author for the Willamette Week.

it's got to be one heck of a tough week for KH (Kyron's father) - I note that his sibling was arrested same day as KH was in for 3 hours with LE......

Yeah, I think it was before 2, also, that Kaine got home so Terri high-tailed it home to beat him for some reason. So many lies it appears. Because if the baby had an ear ache, why would you walk down to the bus stop to pick Kyron up on any kind of a day in the afternoon with an ear achy child? She can't be that careless. So if she didn't mention the ear ache (which she probably didn't) to Kaine then she probably didn't mention her trek around the countryside either.

Having a hard time processing myself so I'm calling it a night!

BBM.

I don't think she would end up with Kyron because DY is his mother.

even w/o a sick baby. Get to gym at 11:39. Work out for about an hour. Pick up baby at childcare (another 5-10 mins. minimum from gym area to child care, gathering baby and her things, signing out, walking to car). Drive 11 miles home -- not on the freeway, so at 50 mph max. or less with stop signs and/or traffic lights, I'm guessing. Unload baby and self and maybe gym stuff from car. Was there a shower or at least a change of clothes in there somewhere? When did baby eat? Get her diaper changed? Nap? etc. On the computer and completed uploads from camera -- all in less than approx. 41 minutes from leaving gym? At a minimum, she's much more efficient than I am!
