Timmy & Chelsea Croslin; and the hours before Haleigh went missing.

They left 6 months later.

Whatever happened to Haleigh does not directly involve any of the Croslins, or if they knew, which Tommy probably does, it was after the fact, why else would Ron put a rat in the mailbox, and why did Tommy and Ron become friends after that? I think Misty messed up when she was fighting with Ron, and told Tommy, Ron had to keep his enemy closer, meaning Tommy, he probably used all his donation money to give Tommy pills and get him more hooked, I mean why does anyone think the grifter Croslins would cover for Ronald? Ronald Cummings is involved, the reason that this is unsolved and has been for two years is because there are only probably very few people who know what happened, and its been kept quiet, there is no way all the Croslins know and are living in poverty over loyalty, no way.

You ask a significant question: why would the Croslins, any of them, cover for Ron Cummings?

They wouldn't. They would save themselves, if they could. Instead, they accuse EACH OTHER and THEMSELVES. That is a powerful indication that they are involved and Ron is not. Still waiting for anyone in LE or any of the Croslins to say Ron was reponsible for Haleigh's death. That would be a get-out-of-jail free card for a Croslin.

LE is not going to accept a claim of who's responsible if it isn't true-- hence, the whole "done dropped in the river" debacle. Seems like Tommy and Misty tried to take the heat, and it didn't stick. mo

I really dont think the Croslin family was all in cahoots and killed Haleigh. Ron IS involved, I heard his words to Cobra, and the cops are not thrilled with him, any guy that can nonchalantly say, shes probably with gators, is a terrible human being, hes either involved or the most detached father of a missing child this world has ever saw. They had more than enough to bust Misty without Rons participation, he was targeted just as much as Misty was. If Timmy had anything at all do to with this, they know where to find him.

Tommy knows after the fact, imo.

Thanks for the info about when Chelsea & Timmy left the state- I thought it was much closer to when Haleigh disappeared. I COMPLETELY agree that Ron was involved, imo he killed Haleigh in a rage then had to go to work & told Misty to get rid of Haleigh, so she got her brothers to help since she couldn't do it alone. I don't think any of them will ever talk because they're afraid of more prison time but they're also afraid of Ron, that he's threatened he can get to them in prison & can/will have their families hurt on the outside. I definitely don't think the Croslins are being loyal to Ron, it's fear, imo. Except Misty who apparently still loves him, maybe she thinks Ron didn't mean to kill Haleigh so he's not a bad guy. It really ticks me off that she's adjusting so nicely to prison, eating well & getting her hair done by inmate pals. Barf. She knows exactly what happened, Haleigh was in her care. She needs to spill her guts so Haleigh can rest in peace.
moo moo & moo

IMO, anyone can threaten anyone with anything, that doesn't make it true, or even likely.

What kind of evidence is there Ron is a person capable of striking fear in the hearts of an entire family? Hank, Tommy and Lisa went to Ron's home in what appeared to be an attempt to rescue Misty, Tommy at least got into a physical altercation with Ron, and then called LE on him. That doesn't strike me as people cowering in terror of what this guy is going to do to them. IIRC, LE was also called over the dead rat, but I'm not sure.

Numbered and bolded by me.

1. IMO, it is possible to be a horrible person, to even be capable of committing the crime, but still not being the one who did it. Dig below the surface of this. If Ron did it, there has to be an answer to how did he do it. If Ron didn't do it, then more than likely it was one of the Croslins, and there has to be an answer to how did one or more of them do it.

Ron doing it requires IMO a massive conspiracy, not only between 3 branches of LE, but also quite a few civilians protecting Ron. One or more of the Croslins doing it takes that off the table.

Ron covering for a Croslin requires explanation, and Ron being a horrible human being and also being the only one of the three major players in prison who did agree to talk for a plea deal at least makes a dent.

Croslins covering for Ron, all the way to now, and with everything that has happened not so much as lifting a finger to help themselves other than to, as Pittsburghgirl stated, point it at each other and still not be pointing at Ron, again, to me says a lot. So why? What's the reason?

2. LE having more than enough to bust Misty? If this is true, what could they have, and why haven't they busted her?

I disagree, it would not take a massive conspiracy, it would take a damaged abused girl who never had any good life until she met Ronald, and sadly, he was an upgrade, I think this is a how much do you really love me kind of a game. It can also be a circumstance where the child was killed in a physical fight between Ron and Misty, and they both have something to lose.

The fact is, after Ron went to jail for beating up Tommy, the day after he put a rat in his mailbox, and its been reported they became friends after that, and they were never friends before, I believe Misty told Tommy what happened and Ron was keeping yet another enemy close and probably in the meantime fed Tommy pills and got him even more hooked.

Tommy and Misty can say, Ron did it, Ron did, but if there is no physical evidence, its not fit to see a jury and they are both addicts and known liars, sadly.

It really does not take a smart person to pull off a murder or concealment of a body, it really doesn't.

There is a story put out by Misty and Ron; it's been documented. Misty puts several people at the home throughout that day concluding with Haleigh being tucked in bed asleep around 10pm. and Ron was at work. If Ron did it, both of those stories can't be true, and both of those stories involve statements by outside people, and both of those stories, if LE were not involved, requires investigation by LE. To not investigate these stories thoroughly would require such gross negligence by LE, especially considering there were local, state, and federal LE involved, how would that even be possible and not be deliberate? Surely there would be at least one, just one LE officer who would be able to determine if little kids were lying about where they were that day, and surely at least one LE officer would be able to determine, with time cards, co-workers, bosses, cell phone activity resulting in cell phone pings, traffic cameras and at least one witness at a convenience store whether or not Ron was at work.

I think when the truth comes out, its going to shock a lot of people who believe Ron. I know for a fact hes skated on drug charges long before he was the concerned father, yeah right, of a missing child, and now they tossed him in for 15 years. Why would LE toss him in? And yes, they had mroe than enough with Misty with her and Tommy and Donnas drug transactions to put her away for the same amount of time she got now, but they targeted Ron, and even he knows it.

Sorry to have to keep beating a dead horse but even LE admits they do not know when whatever happened to Haleigh happened. A person can be fatally injured and not die for an hour, two hours, several hours or more. This happens often enough that it is not considered a rarity, medically speaking. I will admit this scenario is now pretty low on my theories list, but I am not going to just pretend it is not a possibility.

Until we find out what really happened we will not know for sure when Haleigh was actually injured. And until we know when Haleigh was actually injured, none of the group has an airtight alibi.

Absolutely....you can say that again and again and again. As long as there's no time of death how can anyone of these unusual people be excused. Not Ron, Misty, Tommy, Teresa, GMSykes, etc. THERE IS NO TIME OF DEATH. period.

my thing with Ron is this...if Tommy was willing to almost confess to murder, (he really implicated himself), & blame Joe, then why wouldn't he just put Ron's name in place of Joe's? if that's what really happened. If Tommy, really didn't know anything, until after the fact, or just helped in the cover-up, why not just say so? why add self-incriminating details, to the lie? he could take a LDT, through his lawyer, & back up anything he had to say. People would listen! I don't care if he is scared of Ron, he should be more scared of a lethal injection, or whatever it is they do, in Florida. Is he more scared of locked up Ron, than he is of being put to death? & except for a few scarred teenaged girls, I don't think too many people are that scared of Ron. Actually, if anything, evidence, IMO, points to Ron being scared of the Croslins. He sure did his best to keep Misty away from them. & didn't he report Timmy for calling him a FAB? & when he went to jail, for the Tommy/Hank fight, it was reported that he cried off & on all night. Also, & I know this is beside the point, but in his honeymoon pictures, he looked really immature & silly. & he had his mom with him. He most definately, did not look intimidating. & this is also beside the point, because I don't think Tommy cares about anybody but himself, but would he accuse his own cousin of murder, over a truth, that could set his family free?

OK.

I'm sorry. I was hoping people would want to put a theory up and test it out and see if it held up to what we know, but I'm obviously not capable of communicating well enough in this format to make myself understood, or else people just aren't interested.

It's fine, though. This isn't a 'I'm taking my toys and leaving the sandbox' rant. The last few months I've mostly been only coming in here now and then to see if anything new has come up, and every time I do I see that 'Is this case cold' poll, and it breaks my heart for Haleigh. When people started showing up again, I thought it was a chance to dust off the evidence and see what we could come up with.

FWIW, I have no vested interest in Ron being innocent. I'm not a Ron fan, or a Ron believer, or anything else like that. Lol, if this didn't come across to me as an issue, I would have just silently slipped away, but I felt the need to set the record straight on this. The reason I don't think Ron did it is because look at him, look at his record, and the rumours about him, and all the crap he has pulled in the aftermath, of course he did it, how could he not have done it? He was the first one I went after, but no matter how I put the evidence together, it just wouldn't work. At least not for me.

If something new comes out, I'm sure I'll be back, so later, peeps! ;)

Lanie...

In a post a day or so ago, you quoted a detective on an old case..."The interested parties do not seem interested."

I just love that quote to no end, and here's why.

Ron and Co. did not seem as interested as they should have been in finding out what happened to Haleigh. Not only as they should have been, but after the first couple weeks they just didn't seem interested at all. Anytime we saw them in the media their time was spent making Ron look good, and making Misty look like a good babysitter was only to make Ron look good, IMO. I mean, people were griping about him leaving his kids with her, and his family went all out to make her appear much more capable than she is/was so that no one would look crosseyed at Ron.

At first I figured he did not do it, he was a work. Then after a while, I had to consider that he could have. I never, ever, considered that he murdered his child, but thought it was discipline imposed while he was stressed or angry, or that Haleigh somehow got mixed up in a physical fight betweem Ron and Misty.

I still think something like that could have happened.

I tried to come up with any possible scenario that did not involved Ron. I came up with several, and still think one or two of those could be what happened.

The big problem I have had all along with this case is Ron's behavior, TN's behavior, AS's behavior, Misty's inconsistencies and the fact that none of the aforementioned had a problem with those.

The interested parties do not seem interested! And I have a problem with that, especially when some of those who do not seem interested are the blood relation of the missing child.

Rant over.

I could not agree more. Their actions speak louder than words. The trips, tats and behavior tells a lot. My opinion is that many of the players know more than they have told. Still praying that Haleigh will have justice!

Hey Lanie, This is how I feel too.
I am not a fan of Ron or his lifestyle. I think he is guilty of many things, including being a bad parent. I just dont think he killed Haleigh. I can't see all the Coslins sitting in jail, if they could rat out Ron. I do not understand the theory of "Everyone including the police are all covering for Ron". He is a punk. Even the drug deal videos show him for what he is.... A little boy acting like a big man. I just dont see a drug kingpin or a guy smart enough to have the PC Police under his thumb. He dates young girls because he is too immature to play with woman his own age.
It is very hard to read and post here when it seems that everyone else is so sure of something that I just cant find logic in.. . I keep coming back. I rarely post. Your posts happened to say a lot of things I couldnt express myself. I will miss you.

Tommy was almost willing to confess to murder just to tell the cops what they wanted to hear, and get them to stop hounding it happens all the time.
I've thought of that, but why confess to a murder, when you can put the blame on the guilty 1? also, the hounding is over, & he still hasn't recanted. Misty has, but he hasn't, & the last I heard, his lawyer is still, backing that story. I know people false confess, but he didn't just false confess. He very cleverly laid out a detailed scenario, in which he thought Joe would get the blame, while he, the hero, would get his charges dropped. This was an act of self-preservation, not coercian. .I understand the temptation, to blame somebody, to get yourself out of trouble, (co-criminals do it all the time), but I don't understand blaming someone else, when you're not really, in trouble. & at that time, Tommy was nothing but a side note, looking at 3 years. That tells me he was real scared of the truth, coming out, so he beat any teller to the punch. I've considered that his whole story, was 1 big lie, because he wasn't involved at all ...but if it was, wouldn't he have recanted? especially, after being called a suspect, in court? Also, I've considered that he has been lying for Misty. but really, I don't think he cares enough for her, to take this risk. She was a minor, & as long as she didn't commit a premeditated murder, I think a judge or jury, would've showed her some leniency. During the jail house tape time, I got the impression that Tommy saw Misty as having the upper hand. He & Linsey seemed to bend over backwards, to keep her happy. If he was covering for her, wouldn't it have been the other way around? & early in the investigation, she pointed at him. Would he then turn around & repay that, by lying for her? I just don't see Tommy lying for anybody, besides himself. LE formulated that dock search, based on Tommy's story. They didn't do that, based on 1 big lie. He gave them something.

Tommy does not have any proof, he can have knowledge but without anything to back it up, who would believe him? He can say, Misty told me Ron did it, and all that, but who will believe him?

Whoever did this, made sure no proof would be found.

What other reason did Ron put a rat in Tommys mailbox? Think of the events that led up to that moment, Misty calling her family crying, saying she wanted to be picked up, they go over there, Rons on something, Lisa says, and she would probably know if someone is on something..

Cant deny its been said after that Tommy and Ron became friends after the rat incident. Why? I think its because Misty told Tommy too much. jmo

you're right about the rat, & it's the 1 thing, that keeps me from committing 100% to a Tommy theory. I don't get why Ron would've done that, unless he didn't know what happened & thought Misty was guilty, & didn't want Tommy to tell on her. But, I can't buy that, because I think Ron either figured out real quick, or was in on it some how. Thinking about all of this, there are things that point directly to each of the players, & in my mind anyway, the things that point to Tommy, are the hardest to explain away-except that rat.I know LE has information that we don't, (I hope), & I wonder who their evidence, points to? Unless they're busy behind the scenes, I wish they'd share some of that info with the public, because it might help keep this case from going completely cold. It's funny...we read things, interpret them a certain way, & then without realizing it, accept that interpretation, as real. Like the female scream from the trailer. I assumed it was Misty, & I assumed it was a scream of horror...probably, after she found Haleigh dead or gone. But, I know nothing of the sort. But, that interpretation, & the witness seeing her crying in the yard, has played a big part in me not believing she's guilty. But, what if that scream was one of anger? right before she bashed Haleigh's head with a board? & then her crying on the phone, was actually, her begging Timmy for help...anything is possible. & what if Tommy, a grade A kook, did really make up everything, just to get out of his charges? None of that family, really cares for Joe, & he could've been willing, to throw him to the wolves, to get back to Linsey. I wonder what the neighbor had to say about that scream, & I wonder what questions, Misty failed, on her tests. If Ron is guilty, I don't think he involved any of those guys...just Misty. unless he tricked them into thinking Misty was guilty, & that seems too convoluted. Reading about these people, it's easy to judge their motivations & actions. but, if I was young, & living a criminal lifestyle, my initial thought might be to stay out of it, & hope it went away. What if that's what happened here, & once they got caught up in the mess, & realized it wasn't going away, found that they too looked guilty, & were stuck. Would they lie? maybe.

you're right about the rat, & it's the 1 thing, that keeps me from committing 100% to a Tommy theory. Regarding the rat, it never would have been reported to LE and Ron and Misty identified as the culprits if it wasnt for the neighbor who saw it happen, so if it was something to see how well Misty could lie, for Ron, then the neighbor would have been in on it.

Ron and Misty were fighting about something, and I think its about Misty telling Tommy.
