Respectfully: there has been no POI or suspect named in Holly's abduction at this point, so the sword is only cutting one way right now imvho.

Respectfully: No one in this case has been cleared, according to LE.

Everyone has a right to their own perspective. Even me.

And again the large overhead shot with a white car aparently parked in front of the car port. The garage is the pitched roof to the right of the pitched roof of the car port. In this photo the house is sort of an upside down "T" shape with the living area being in the middle and the car port to the back/left and the garage to the front/right of the house.

It is also not a long walk north (and then sligtly to the east) until you are at the main road where a car could have been parked or hidden.

From what I recall, the sun didn't rise that morning until around 7:15am....can someone (BeanE) verify that? The sun rises in the east...so if Holly was taken to the north woods, then we can assume the sun rises facing the front of the home, which would then project shadows (or silhouettes) to the west, which is the back of the home.

I am curious as to what time each parent left home. We know that Holly was up at 4:30am to study. KB has said this (once again, if I recall correctly)...so she was the one to see her that early? Karen also said she spoke to Holly, her mother and Drew that morning....wonder what Holly had to say? Was she nervous about her exam? Was she tired from being up all morning? Was she excited that school was going to soon be out? I would like to know how mom spoke to Drew? Did he call the home to speak to Holly that morning and mom answered? Did he call Holly's cell phone...and Holly was in the shower or something and mom answered Holly's cell phone for her?
Notice Karen didn't say she had spoken to Clint early that morning, so we can assume he was indeed asleep.
When Clint called the school and spoke to the secretary there, what did he say? Did he say, "Hey, this is Clint...I need to speak to my mom...someone is in our garage and I don't know who it is?" It had to be something more ominous than that...since Karen mentions that as soon as the secretary came to her she knew it wasn't Drew in the garage. What did Clint say to the secretary? Did he try calling Holly's cell? Of all the reports we have been given, no one has mentioned attempting to call her cell. They may have done so...but I find it remarkable that its never mentioned.

When my 18 year old son went missing, I called his phone repeatedly for days...I called and called and called...until the phone went dead. I told the cops, and everyone else I spoke to, "I have called his phone over and over and he won't answer...it's just ringing and I'm leaving messages." Granted, not everyone would act as I did...but I do find it odd that the subject of the phone is being avoided.

I respectfully disagree. I think most of the confusion is due to second- or third-hand reporting (by the media and LE). I also would expect not to have perfect clarity, since
(1) I'm not there in person; (2) I do not know the persons involved; and (3) I don't have the luxury to ask questions for clarification.
Would I like someone to fill in the blanks? Sure. Will some of them be filled in later? Probably. But I'm not in a position to demand more than I have received so far. (I'm not a detective assigned to the case; I'm not responsible for solving this crime; I'm simply an interested observer.) So, I'm willing to accept not having all the facts. I'm certainly not going to use the lack of clarity as an excuse to cast suspicion on the Bobos.

EXACTLY!! So Then- I 'm ok with believing there may be more clarification needed, and your good with the info that has been given. We have opposing views, and that's ok, this is only a discussion.

As moderator has said ,we are allowed to discuss the family, not accuse them.....and I too am not responsible for solving the crime, hope I in no way gave the impression I was. I would say we are all willing to accept not having all the facts, and furthermore I in no way used the" lack of clarity" as an excuse to cast suspicion on anyone, least of all the Bobo family. Did you read the Quote above my comment?
Casting suspicion was your comment not mine. Sorry if I did not make myself clear. I do that sometimes.

I just came from the Parsons area in the last few days and I once again was struck by how many caves are located very near there.
They aren't generally known or mapped, except for maybe the ones near Ladyfinger Bluff.
The terrain from that area on towards Nashville gets very rocky.
The caves I refer to have small hidden entrances.
I know that if I were at a casino and I placed a bet on what my belief is about where Holly is that they would take my money and laugh at me, but I still believe she is alive.
The plentiful game and the denseness of the areas not far from her home support my theory.
I also believe an ATV was used to take her after she was initially led into the woods. Onto the logging trail.
There are also many small clean springs for water all over those hills. A boyfriend I had in my late teens was from Parsons and we would go all over the area and enjoy the springs while hiking and often harvest wild mint and watercress.
I tend to think, although as KB said it is unknown, that HB's cell phone was found at a rock quarry.
I think IMO only that Holly is still alive.
I still consider the Fisher suspect on the FBI top 10 list out of Arizona to be the type of perp involved here.
Someone looking for a "companion" and very skilled in EMT training as well as an ardent survivalist.
If it were a local "obsessively cleaning or trying to sell a vehicle" right after the abduction, they would have been caught by now.
IMHO, once again, this is someone who lives completely off the grid and isn't going to be missed by anyone.
From my lips to God's ears and praying daily for Holly and her family and community.

"Woof go dot," Do you not think it would have been better to ask for Texas EQS? I know they think she is living, and I sure do hope she is....but since they are searching the woods, etc...I think the group from Texas would be a wonderful resource.

Also, thanks BeanE for your helpful link. I was wrong...sunrise was at 6:30am.

Yes Tim Miller and TES as well as a well respected ex-TBI and ATF agent from HB's area are just a few who believe there is a very good chance that she is still alive.
You have to understand the area.
Someone asked me "In this heat and without food how would she be alive?"
I pointed out that the native americans thrived in this area as well as the early settlers.
Plenty of food and water.
As well as the vast Natchez Trace so close by and full of game.
I believe the perp is a trapper and a bowhunter and very skilled in the art of deception.
Why not Holly with a well prepared abductor?
Entirely plauseable IMO.......
And he is waiting for all hope and searchers to go away.

Hm. TX Equusearch, if it could commit hundreds of work hours to Darden TN and the area, would be perfect. Unfortunately they sometimes seem so over-committed that a few members of that gallant organization will make an appearance, garner some press coverage, and then - it costs lots of money to stay away from home - back to TX. (Where they continue to do great work; they spent days and days searching Canyon Lake, just north of S.A., for a drowning victim and yep, they found him.)

It's a shout of despair she's making, a plea for more powerful forces to rally to the cause of finding her girl. Volunteer organizations are great, but limited. She wants the FBI to secure control of the case, and find her family some resolution.

My teen boyfriend was also an avid rapeller (sp?) who liked to go down the cliffs in that area by rope to enter the caves that were otherwise unaccessable.
Ladyfinger Bluff as well as the entire area between Parsons and Nashville is full of these caves.
Holly come home!

Good theory - it would explain why paragliders are being called into use.
Also this kind of person could have been watching the house for some time, planning his move... Would also explain why he took her as soon as she left her home in the morning.

Have to leave for dinner with a friend but my thoughts are never far from WS or from Holly and all the others suffering in this world.
I think CB is doing the best he can to explain what happened.
I believe he was sleepy and with the explanation that the garage is attached to the house, that he could see through a window, possibly in the kitchen (with drapes/shade) into that garage. Thus he saw the silhouettes that turned out to be Holly and her abductor.

What time was the scream heard? Has the person who heard the scream been interviewed?

Did CH hear the scream?

Is the vertical gray line a major hwy? what is the name of this street, road, hwy? I wish we had a layout of the inside. CH said he saw the people in the garage from the kitchen window. Many times a pool is located near the kitchen...but Clint said he saw the shadows in the garage from the kitchen. What part of the house was he in when he saw them go in the woods?

BBM

I admit i havent followed this case as closely as some others, so i apologize if i am asking a dumb question(s).

Is it true NO ONE has been cleared? Because for as long as ive been following, HB's bf seems to have been ruled out completely.
Also, why is KB speaking to HB bf early that morning? That strikes me as being a little odd. Right away, KB has given him an alibi for anything that may have happened? Did she SEE him or SPEAK to him on phone right before or during HB's abduction?

Sorry if these have been asked and answered

I assume the person who heard the scream was interviewed as LE has mentioned them/it/their phone call.

Who is CH?

CB did not hear the screams aparently.

THe vertical road in the photo is the road the Bobo's live on. I think its Swan Johnson Road?

LE has been kinda fuzzy on some statements they have said that Clint is not a suspect but at the same time they have said no one has been ruled out as a suspect... legal doublespeak I guess.

The exact time line and details of calls made between anyone has not been made clear. Even the exact number of calls made is a bit confusing. Perhaps Holly's b/f called the Bobo house while Karen was at home and she answered the phone? Perhaps the b/f tried to call Holly and could not reach her so he called Holly's mom? Holly and her b/f seem close so it is not really unusual or implausible that the b/f spoke with Holly's mom that morning. The b/f himself seems to be not a suspect (as I recall he was also at work or something?). Oddly though I have not seen him make any public statements (not that anyone really has until recently).

It's interesting that the BF is not mentioned more.

-Clint thought the guy he saw WAS the BF.

-The BF and Holly had apparently JUST broke up.

-The BF seems to fit the size description.

Now they may have absolute confirmation that the BF could not have been involved, but like most of this.....we just don't know.
