I don`t think it was a survivalist either but the screaming part is still unclear. Some reports say the neighbour heard screams coming from the Bobo house. I tend to believe that version because the neighbour allegedly called KB to let her know. IIRC, this was from the first tv interview with the family.
Yes..Karen Bobo herself said a neighbor called her at work after hearing screams and then Karen Bobo called home to Clint to check out what was going on.

I'm beginning to think that for whatever reason CB isn't very good at listening to and answering questions. Like when the interviewer asks about a blood trail, and he talks about the trails.

The account here http://m.examiner.com/examiner/pm_60959/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=7bUtjARw actually makes sense regarding how the morning unfolded , unlike a lot of the rest.

The inconsistencies between accounts could possibly be nervousness, or not being a very good communicator.

Edited to add: could it be possible that CB didn't hear a scream because that's what set the dog off and woke him up?

The Neighbor and the Screams
---
A neighbor had apparently heard screams coming from the house and alerted the school where Karen Bobo works.

“Motherly instinct. I knew something was wrong as soon as the secretary came to the cafeteria and told me,” she said.

Four 911 calls were made: one from the school, one from the neighbor, and two from Karen Bobo herself.

There is more than being a poor communicator going on here...imo.

What is frustrating is that just to try to piece together what happend is virtually impossible becasue the fundamental elements of the sequence of events differ greatly from account to account.

Various MSM, LE and family statements directly contradict each other.

On top of that, many people involved directly and indirectly seem to have made actions that may not be what the average person would do. For example if I heard screams coming from the woods, I would call 911 not the mother of a neighbor some distance away, so she could call her son at home to see what was up. Or If I heard or saw people walking around in my own garage which is attached to the house I was in at the time, I would just look in the garage and see who was there, rather than aparently walking away and calling someone miles away to ask who was in the garage.

I guess I do stuff the weird way. I dont know...

The neighbor who heard screams calls Karen. Clint calls Karen. No one calls the Dad..

I guess I must do stuff the weird way also because I would do them like you.

It`s too bad the neighbour hasn`t come forward. I`d love to hear her version. I have a sneaking suspicion she tried calling the house first and when nobody answered, she called KB at work.

Maybe the neighbor didn't know Clint was at home, but did know that everyone else should have been gone from the house at that time.

YES! This is what I have been thinking. If I heard a scream...a panicked scream...and I thought it was coming from the Bobo's residence, I would call there first.

Also, wonder why Clint did not call his mom on her cell phone? If she texted Holly throughout the day, she obviously kept her cell close to her at school. Wouldn't calling directly to mom's phone make sense...as opposed to going through the school office?

If I heard screams coming from the house, I`d call there first anyway to ask if everything was ok. If I got no answer, then I`d call them at work or call 911.

There is a video snippet with a neighbor talking about hearing screams. It has been posted here and talked about months ago. Might be difficut to find now. Its part of a longer news spot. Its not super informative but its out there.

Yes another mystery. Maybe he didn`t know she kept her cell phone on during the day

The problem is that the entire disappearance of Holly rests on the one person who has problems communicating.

OTOH, we are told that he is doing/studying social work, psychology and works at a nursing facility. What was his schedule that day?

It seems to me that if there is a problem with anything in the house, the father would be the one to call. He has his own business and is probably available at any hour. Why call the mother who is a teacher and can't leave ASAP.

I need more history on the father.

.........."Clint Bobo states he called his mom when he heard two people talking and saw them silhouetted in the garage, kneeling on the floor of the garage."....

What sort of window was he looking through to see two people kneeling on the floor of the garage? is this a full completely glassed door?...very unusual here but I know nothing about rural living.

If he wasn't viewing them from a common door/window in the kitchen then that means the complete garage was open and he was looking through a different area on a complete angle. But he states from the kitchen. How do you see shadow of people kneeling on the garage floor through a window?

If this man has a problem communicating than it should be explained. If not, the story makes no sense...imo.

I have not found a direct statement from Clint saying he was in the kitchen looking into the garage. He did not say Kitchen in the JVM interview.

And old report said he looked out the kitchen window and saw Holly and camo man walking into the woods. But then an old report said he looked out the second floor window and saw them (its a one story house!!)

Well I`m out for the night. I`m trying to locate that video of the neighbour but can`t find it. Got a couple of virus threats along the way. :innocent:

Hope we get some news soon......:seeya:

Well, I hope by now at least LE knows what Clint means, with his unusual way of communicating, or his inability to explain exactly what happened that morning. Maybe he is hamstrung by certain things he cannot say, I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt on that, except that I don't believe LE knows anything, so I don't really believe that theory. Of course LE could still be telling the family "don't mention the so-and-so" and still not have a clue as to what happened to Holly. I don't think we would be hearing so much from them if they felt confident that a solution was coming and certainly not trying to reach out to the president.
