What bothers me is who would know who Whitney Duncan is if she wasn't Holly Bobo's cousin....
Would she have been on Survivor if it wasn't for Holly's abduction?

No. IMO

Underwear? Hahaha. Great.

Not funny when your cousin was abducted and possibly raped.

That information was revised. Why? Who knows. Is Holly's bf more 5'8 or 6? That should answer the question. If CB was the last person to see the suspect and he thought it was Drew and Drew is 5'8" that's where that info came from. Why was it changed? There were no other witnesses. Drew is definitely not 200 lbs from the photos I've seen of him.

BBM: I'm fairly certain the FBI knows why this information was revised- as well as how tall Drew is, and what he roughly weighed at the time of Holly's kidnapping.

Moo of course- but as a test...everyone should look take a look out their window and observe someone passing by. Then ask a bunch of friends, relatives, strangers, neighbors to do the same.

Then ask all to give a statement as to how tall the passerby is. And what they weigh, and what they were wearing.

You will get as many different answers as people asked.

And you will find HUGE discrepancies- with the exception of something extremely distinctive- such as a flame orange vest. Or total camoflage. You'll tend to find some consistancy with an extremely distinctive and visible feature.

Then ask everyone who first observed the person, an hour later. Then ask 12 hours later- and then 24 hours later. Descriptions will vary wildly. Doesn't mean witnesses are suspects of anything- except being human.

Let's face it. 5'8" to 6' eliminates midgets and NBA players and that's all. Could be anybody.

Possibly off-topic - Holly's cousin Whitney Duncan

@whitneyduncan Whitney Duncan

Apparently there is a Survivor commercial where I say "I certainly wasn't expecting to get into my underwear so quickly"...haha. Great.

Something about this bothers me, in light of Holly's abduction.

I was a bit disappointed in the CBS promotion.... and like you, something bothers me as well.. even a perfunctory, "doing this for my cousin Holly" could have been mentioned...maybe I missed it, so please correct me if I did...

I find the whole "Survivor" thing kind of offensive...don't know why. But I do.

You lost me. There are no other witnesses in this case. Only CB saw the suspect. Not the FBI.

So my question is why was the original description of the suspect changed? If CB thought it was Drew.......Drew is NOT 200 lbs. So where did that come from? Did the FBI make it up or did CB change it? If CB changed it, WHY?

Drew is not 200 lbs, imo. So why was the description changed if CB was the only one who saw the suspect and he thought it was Drew?

That is my point.

Not to be argumentative- but why does this matter at all, in helping to find Holly?

How would we know if she was 'doing it for Holly' or not?

How do we know what this family is suffering through? How would we know or be able to judge Holly's family and friends for their efforts to find Holly?

Should every family member or friend of the Bobo's be blamed for not discussing Holly's abduction the way the public would like it to be discussed? Or for not using their job or career as a platform for what appears to be a terrible crime?

Imvho- that is up to each individual who has ties to a victim.

This may be nothing but I was trying to put myself in Holly's place. The first thing I thought of is (if it happened the way CB said), and I knew my brother was inside the house very close by, I would scream his name as loud as possible. Maybe she was too scared, or he threatened her not to make another sound, but that would have been my instinct.

That is my point.

Because witnesses very commonly gauge height, weight, clothing, timing, vehicles, sounds, etc, incorrectly?

And most people tend to base obervation on normal, common, known, or expected events when trying to recall?

Sorry. Maybe if it was a stranger but not when you recognize him as your sister's bf. So the original description was of Drew but they then added height and weight. I'd like to know why but like everything in this case getting the truth is almost impossible.

She'll be wearing pink bracelets....BeanE posted a link 2 pages back.

Pink...a color Holly hated if I understood the quote or maybe Whitney hates it.

I know about the pink bracelets... which made me more surprised when I didn't see her mention them in CBS promo... in fairness, maybe she did and it was edited out...

Point well taken!

I think you may have misunderstood the quote.

Whitney would 'ONLY' wear pink for Holly.
Holly was last seen wearing a pink shirt.
The color pink has been a huge part of the search and rescue efforts for Holly- as well as a symbol of hope and prayers from the community for her safety and return.

I understand pink was one of Holly's favorite colors- and also the color shirt she was wearing when she was kidnapped.

Yes I figured that's what she meant.

“Only for her will I wear pink! (I hate pink),” she says of Bobo

EHHH --Yeah, it seems pretty obvious to me that Survivor producers were sitting around one day prior to the April 13th abduction of Holly Bobo, and WHITNEY DUNCAN was just the OBVIOUS choice for the NEW season.....cause everyone knows Whitney, and she will pull in millions of viewers. Are you kidding me-- her visibility in the Bobo case had everything to do with getting on that show....and the fact that she was a beautiful young aspiring singer did not hurt either.

It is just one more question about the family dynamics that should not have to be brought into this investigation.....and I agree the promo seems off--but then her going on Survivor , for me, seems pretty dismissive of the severity of her cousins case. That's just me!:twocents:

There are 2 important questions we have yet to have confirmed:

1) Did Karen Bobo SEE Holly at 4:30 am in her room

Importance: because if she did not see her, then it would seem to me the verification from another source is needed to establish the "last time" HOLLY was seen, That establishing an entirely new timeline.

2) was Holly's cell phone retrieved with a message from April 14th. Found near Dana Bobos workplace?

Importance: I don't think we need to explain that one.

Please, if someone knows the answers to these question as fact, post reference.

I don't think we know for sure if Holly's mom SAW her; she said she was up studying...did not specify as far as I know, but I got the impression she talked to her.

And as for the phone, there is no confirmation it was even found, so certainly none about a message on it or from it...

I wonder at what point in a case like this LE comes forward with all they know...hoping the public can fill in the blanks. I don't quite get the total lockdown from LE on this one, since they SEEM to be no closer to finding Holly.
