Thanks for your response TxLady,
I know we are not entitled to know (everything) that was told to LE, but don't you think since the family themselves are going on TV to ask for the publics help, they should at least have a timeline of events that makes some sense.
Yes, Clint was the ONLY one home --so his account is crucial, but has changed a number of times. Some of the changes relate to the call to his mother, so Her account also is important.
The mother has said she saw Holly at 4:30 in her room studying, she never accounts for the time between 4:30am and the time at which she and her husband left for work.
She said she had already spoke to Drew, the boyfriend, before Clint called her. What reason did she have for calling Drew before she knew anything was wrong?
The neighbor comes in to this because she "heard" a scream at around 7:30, that scream has now established the beginning timeline. How do we know WHO screamed, Clint did not hear it, and the neighbor never actually saw Holly.
The most disturbing part of the account is this--When Clint was first interviewed he said he only saw Holly being led off by a 6ft 200lb man into the woods,as the question of Why did he not do something arose, then he says he saw the 2 figures in the garage and believed it to be Holly and her boyfriend, Drew. He knew Drew, and he also knows he does not fit that size description. Was it a cover for him not doing anything to stop his sisters assailant?
Now I know you are thinking I am accusing Clint, or the family of some sinister involvement. Not So. I only ask the questions that allow people to continue to suspect the family May know more about Holly's disappearance. I know we have absolutely no right to ANY information that would jeopardize this case, and I for one do not need to know 1 single aspect of this case. It is not my problem, but the family themselves have made the public plea for help. I just say "help us help you", straighten things out, or go back to the silence of the past 3 months.
How can one ask for help, but leave so many questions unanswered? I am hopeful you are right, TxLady, and LE has all the info they need to solve this case and bring Holly home. That is all that really matters.:twocents:
