I know I am late to this, but if the brother saw her walking away with a man in camo what did he do? Did he notify anyone at the moment or anything?

Yes, that is the question...
The whole timeline is the question...
Seems that by the time he saw her walking into the woods he HAd already called his mother at work...or may have been on the phone with her at that time...hard to say. He says he saw outlines or silhouettes of people prior to that and didn't know one was Holly...so he called his mother to ask who might be out there...

Eileen730,

Thank you for your questions. You and I are on the same page.

Here is what I have read to be the string of events: April 2011

>Neighbor hears a scream---calls Karen Bobi at her job
>Karen Bobo then calls Clint
>Clint says he saw Holly and (he thinks) Drew walking towards the woods.
>Karen says "that is not Drew"
>Clint hangs up calls 911
>Meanwhile Karen Bobo is on her way home, and after hanging up with Clint also calls 911 from cell.
>Clint has now gone outside, found blood spot, and is into the woods looking for Holly

This is the account from JVM interview--August 2011

>Clint awoken by barking dog
>Goes to window and sees two figures kneeling in garage
>Calls Mom at work --someone gets her, she comes to phone, and he asks what's going on, ref. the 2 figures in garage
>Karen Bobo say's Holly should be at school
>Clint looks outside again and sees (he thinks)Drew and Holly going into the woods
>Finds blood on carport
>calls 911
>meanwhile Karen Bobo has also called 911 by now

(somewhere in that account neighboe has heard a scream and responded by calling Karen or 911, not sure which)

These 2 accounts are ONLY my understanding of the early and recent stories of the morning of April 13th--

ANYONE Please jump in and make corrections where needed---I am sure there may be many, Thanks:crazy:

One time it is said Mom called Clint another interview its clint called mom!

he should have heard the screams JMO

Why didnt the neighbor hear the outside dog barking if the indoor dog was barking. I have 2 dogs one barks the other barks,

I think the neighbor called the bobo house and no one answered so she called the school..Wouldnt you call the house first?

Did you see the other interview the 2 part one that was done the day after JVM

I am confused about one thing. You said the blood was in the carport. I thought the blood was in the garage which is a separate building.

Way back on day one they said Carport.

I dont want to pick on anyone but...
Why call mom to see whos in the garage?

he heard voices he heard the camo guys voice, He is a good friend of DREWS
and they hunt together he would know his voice Yes? Why say it was him and if ya thought it was him why not go into the garage why call mom?
Ya open the door and find out who is there in your house right?

Im having trouble following this case

I still think it's some lunatic that lives in a ramshackle house out in the woods not too far away who had been watching Holly for awhile. A total loner with few, if any, friends who never talks about his private life with anyone. Someone who knows the woods around there very well and would not look out of place in camouflauge around town.

I thought that right away. He's 25 years old and if he heard people in the yard or the garage... WHY NOT LOOK? I just have a hard time with that part. I know people will say everyone reacts differently but I have a big big big problem with this part of the story. Its just very abnormal IMHO for an adult to just not look. Especially if there are people in the garage which is part of the house. Just blows my mind. There must be more to the story than has been leaked out to explain some of the actions here.

If I had an adult kid that called to ask me who was in my garage when he was at home and I was at work, I'd hit the roof... I'd say did you look? Is it a break in? Did you call 911?

Thats true but 1) would he have a vehicle and 2) in a town of 2,500 +/- you would think someone would know about him or think of him? You know, that whack guy up in the woods there with all the milk jugs hanging from the trees...

Well he probably has a job and a vehicle. He's just not a mixer. Whoever kidnapped Holly probably went about their regular life very soon after the abduction so as not to cause suspicion. I just can't visualize someone who's not from those parts stalking Holly. That would be like stumbling on a needle in a haystack.

I agree!
And where was the golden R. at this time.
They are loving dogs i have one but god forbid anyone that tried to hurt one of us. And they BARK!....

I just cant wrap my brain around him calling mom and asking who it was in the garage. Hes a man he has guns! And he has DOGS!

Thanks to everyone for all the great posts. Wish I had something to add. I just keep going back to what I would do in such a situation...placing myself in everyone's position, including Holly, the perp, the brother, the mom, the neighbor.

As a neighbor myself, I keep my eyes and ears open on my street. If the neighbor heard a scream (which was so horrific that she thought to call Karen and 911)...then did she become more observant to her outside surroundings? Did she notice any traffic coming or going....did she see any ATV's or hunters about the area? Did she get in her car after talking to Karen and ride down to the house to see if everything was ok?

And what kind of incident would leave a small amount of blood? A punch in the nose would keep on bleeding. Something dropped on the foot (as I had considered when I thought about the spilled Coke can...and the fact that Holly was wearing flip flops) and causing bleeding might leave a trail. Where did that blood come from that it still allowed Holly to walking casually into the woods?

True but the way i see it with stranger abductions they usually leave their victims close to where they abducted em. I think they would have found Holly before now... JMO

She could easily be someone's prisoner. People that abduct people have deviant minds and plan these things out in advance.

Unfortunately, people go missing in this country all the time to never be seen again except in a few cases like Elizabeth Smart and Jaycee Dugard.

Look at the man in Austria who kept his own daughter prisoner for years and years.

He says he thought it was her BF....

i think , a man that wants a prisoner will choose a child he can controll a child not a grown woman.

I do not think this is like Jayceee Dugare or elizabeth Smart! but ya never know!

I don't see this as a stranger abduction. At least not in a totally random way where the guy had never seen Holly before that morning. I assume it is someone local or with local ties that got to see her and/or to know her from afar. She may or may not be aware of this person, or may only be familiar with them at a glance (like the mechanic at a garage, bag boy at a grocery, someone at her school but not in her class, etc.)

I don't see this person as being someone obvious. And you see a lot of crimes in the news where a woman is killed or disappeared and everyone says oh yeah XYZ did it... That doesnt seem to be the case here.

The dog barking/not barking/barking loudly depends on the dogs. Some dogs just aren't barkers. I think in this case the dog(s) barking may have frightened the suspect off when he was in the garage. I wonder exactly how Clint saw them... is there a window into the attached garage? Did he open a door to it?

If I was at home and thought someone was in my garage I would either look and see or call 911

If I was a neighbor and heard screams I'd have calld 911

If someone called me at work to say there were strangers in the garage, I'd have called 911...

Carla i dont think anyone would go to her home to abduct her they could do it
out on a desolate road why risk her home where dogs and family are men with guns!

I don't know why, but I just have this gut feeling that she is being held prisoner somewhere in an area not too far from where the abduction occured.

As for what causes small amounts of blood...

Lots of things really, especially related to a struggle.

cut from a knife
punch in the nose
pulled earring
fall and hit your head
busted lip from a punch

Most injuries to your face and head will bleed a good bit, even if they are very minor. Look at how much blood even a "normal" nose bleed can put out yet those are not particularly serious.

I doubt dropping a can of coke on her foot would cause bleeding. Cans are not sharp and I doubt somehow the can would fall in just such a way her toe would go inside the small opening. We have all kicked the bed post, door frame, etc. in the past with a lot of force. I know I have never had a bloody toe from it... just a painful one.
