Giving CB the benefit of the doubt, I will try this again. Perhaps he saw people through a curtain which for some reason he couldn't adjust. Perhaps his mother called him and he did not call her. Perhaps his mother called a house phone and that is why he left the window.
Taking these thoughts into consideration, CB would become panicked after the phone call. He runs to the window and sees them enter the woods, casually walking together.
According to CB, he runs to the woods and they are gone.
At this point, how soon did he follow to woods? Because if it were immediate, he should have seen them.
My second thought is with the silhouettes. If it was through a window, I doubt he could see them kneeling. So may I suggest it was a full door window covered with a curtain, perhaps sheer. At some point, the light would have to be just right to make silhouettes.
I have no idea why he didn't hear a scream and why was the "house" dog barking? I'd say the perp was noisy...not very good behavior for a stranger abduction.
CB tells us there was a spilled coke can near the car; he also added that a blood puddle was observed by him. He tells us he thought it was turkey blood and learned later that it wasn't. How much later was left out of the interview. We are still not together on where the car was parked. I had assumed it was in the driveway. We are given the word, "Garage" by CB.
What is happening is that people tend to make the facts fit their perception of what is said. We tend to get mind pictures conjured up by a witness. We assumed carport. It may be correct or it may be wrong. CB said "garage", he did not say carport. We know the garage is attached and we know it was converted; however, CB never said this happened in back of the house.
The spilled coke can and the blood are together, according to CB...they are both found next to her car. Why would a perp not get in her car with her? It tells us he had his own vehicle, but why park so far away and depend on the victim to walk with him? Why was it necessary to take a different vehicle.....in the woods? He has already made a racket and alerted a dog and CB in the house. BTW, clint said "our house dog". Is that vs outside dogs? Do they have other dogs? If not, adding the word "house" is odd.
What is needed is to know where the car was parked. It should not be difficult, yet in four months, I am not sure where the heck it was. We can know for sure that someting happened or looked liked it happened exactly as she was getting into her car. The other known fact is that she was wearing a pink shirt, lt blue jeans and flip-flops. She managed to take her lunch pak and phone despite the blood.
