Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion, and the freedom to express it.
My current personal opinion is that LE should become involved when there is harrassment or obstruction evident in a missing persons case.
How does everyone else feel about that?

Now on another note- has anyone come across hunting license purchases? Not everyone who hunts does, of course- but it's another legal registry database to look at.

Yikes, that is not what LE said. The searches were going to EXPAND if no additional leads were found by Sunday. The weather became a issue I believe but there was never an explanation given for calling off the searches after the 26th of April...

Correct- the weather did become a hazard at that time.

ETA: I was also thinking back to the possibility of a vehicle being involved in Holly's abduction- and perhaps traffic violations on record, that sort of thing. Can we pull the plates off of any of Amanda's archived photos taken from the initial search(s)? I know which are LE- but it would be interesting to know ownership of the others.

Both driver and rear passenger (drivers side) windows have visible traffic along with specific vehicle background. The rear window and rear passenger window have visible terrain- that if you enhance and then pull up a topo to match up with, can give an idea of location, angle of the vehicle etc. Imvho, the youtube video is valuable in that aspect.
It's also probably heartbreaking for the family and friends of the Bobo's to watch now.

If this is all a 'scam' and Holly is alive and well somewhere- well, let's just say I will be jumping for joy ala "balloon boy" style.

Yes I meant Clint. He went and showered and was showered when police arrived. If LE did a good job they would have taken the trap and tested the house for blood evidence reguardless of Clint being a suspect or not based on his being just out of the shower. A shower is the first place a person goes to remove evidence.
Not that I think Clint is or am saying he could be a suspect I dont and am not. I just feel like if those things were not done ,then chances are higher other mistakes are also being made.

Which means the discussion of a hoax is OFF THE TABLE unless you can link it to INFO FROM LE.

If LE comes out and says something to give this theory substance, then it will be allowed. Until then it is considered an OUTRAGEOUS rumor.

First BBM:
LE needs a warrant for that, unless a property owner says "come on in and take whatever you like", if asked. LE also needs a decent reason to ask- which they may not have had at all at the time- or anytime since.

Second BBM:
I think this reporting is based on height/weight/mannerism/etc. I agree that it is not a definate fact.

I don't think Clint having a shower was confirmed. IIRC, some speculated that he was in the shower and that's why he didn't hear the scream. He didn't mention being in the shower in the more recent interviews. I believe both Karen and Clint said Clint was asleep and awoken by their dog barking.

I'm guessing Clint hearing a male voice and the description of the perp is what lead investigators to believe it is a male.

Neighbor (or neighbor's son) hears a scream and calls the school to talk to KB. Leaves a message for her. We know KB was very distraught as soon as she got the message.

We know KB talked to CB on the phone at least twice. Once when HB was in the carport/garage and once when they were walking into the woods. We know CB called KB the 2nd time, when they were walking into the woods.

Questions.
Did KB call CB the 1st time?
Had KB already gotten the message from the neighbor at that time?
if not, had she gotten the message between 1st call and 2nd?

If she had, why didn't she scream for CB to do something?
If she hadn't, she knew it wasn't HB's boyfriend so didn't she leave school immediately? So when did she get the note about the scream?

Not accusing anyone of anything, just trying to get the facts straight in my head.

In her most recent interview, KB stated that if we knew all of the facts, no one would be pointing a finger at Clint. Well… hello? May we have all of the facts? Then we can help solve this case and point a finger in the right direction.

I assume LE is directing the Bobo family not to release certain facts about the case.

But why is this case being treated like it’s a big secret? We want to help. We want to find Holly.

Who is this secretive nature protecting? Holly is not home. She’s missing. So it’s not protecting her!

Why is it a big secret who the POI is? Does LE really not have anyone they’re looking at under their brows?

Is LE waiting to find Holly before naming a suspect? What if they never find her? Does that mean LE will never name anyone as a suspect?

So the Bobo's want help from anyone....even the President, but they don't REALLY want help from any sar team that could help???

I don't think that is a true statement. Karen arranged for that local paraglider group to help search. We do not know what other legit groups have or have not been contacted or who have or have not searched. Aparently there is one so called "SAR" team who's help is not wanted... the one that has been accused of spreading false rumors, evidence, etc.

None of the actual time line or sequence of calls/events has ever been made totally clear. No one interview says ok Neighbor called Karen, Karen called Clint, etc. We just get bits of it from multiple interviews/sources.

Well. I hope karen bobo gets her help from Obama, whatever form of help it is that shes wanting. Im sure its very frustrating for the family, callung TBI every single day, and every day the same "no news today" answer. IIRC Clint is no longer in school& says he spends his days giving out flyers. And dana continues to search. This poor family- i hope they get closure soon.

How long before the Bobo family comes forward, ignores the LE, and asks for the public's help? At this point I wouldn't worry about damaging the chance of a conviction, I would want answers. I would spill the beans and let the public know all the facts and beg for help.

I am frustrated with this case, I cannot imagine what the Bobos are going through. So may questions and no answers at all.

Does anyone remember something being said about Clint being in the shower?
Why was this dismissed or was it a rumor?
I think this theory could very well explain a lot.
The bathroom could very well be facing the carport, I cant imagine it facing the front of the house. There house is very small, under 1500 sq ft I believe.
Bathroom windows are hard to see out of and would definently cause you to see blurry but be able to see something like camo clothing.
