I dont necessarily buy that. The suspect could have parked along the tree line on Swan Johnson road, walked up to the house through the woods, parallel to the driveway and then entered the property perhaps from the northish side. Since they walked away in that direction, I assume a vehicle was in that direction.

Not sold on the ATV idea either. As they are loud/noisy and if you abducted someone it would be hard to make a get away with a woman on an ATV. I suppose they could have had a truck and trailer but then things start to get complicated. I prefer more simple, direct suppositions rahter than overly complex ones. Given the short time frame that holly and the suspect disappeared and that Clint aparently went out after then and didnt mention hearing an ATV I dont think one was used. I dont think there was time to drive her away on an ATV then load the ATV into a trailer or onto a flat bed or something and drive some more. Too much effort.

I'm seeing a fence along the highway frontage and down the driveway. Wouldn't the fence have continued down the sides and possibly rear of the property also? Otherwise, what's the point? So how easy would this be if there is a fence that has yet been unmentioned in this case?

But, then again, I have some difficulty reconciling the still photos of the home with the helicopter flyover one. At least as far as orienting the driveway to the home goes. One depicts as described by a reporter a long winding driveway. The other a straight shot paved drive that must either went left or right around to the back that was reddish clay.

The other anomaly was that the home appeared from the interior interview footage to have two fireplaces, but flyover of roofline has no chimneys.

Also noted that the one Channel 5 interview took place in the closed in garage area. I wonder that she did not insist on being shown THE garage or carport.

No matter how hard I try, I just can't see Holly walking into the woods with a stranger no matter what he threatened. Actually I can't see her walking into the woods with someone she knew. She seemed spunky and the type of girl that would kick, bite, scream, whatever it took to get away regardless of her small size.

I admit that in the beginning I thought that the investigators were being somewhat myopic in assuming that this perp was someone from the area. The more I thought about it, I realized that beyond the terrain, there are probably other reasons for thinking that.

I assume the perp knew that a young pretty girl lived at this house at the very least. Maybe he knew her name was Holly. We can also assume that he knew that turkey season had started and that it wouldn't be unusual to be seen walking around the woods in camo very early in the morning.

If he had watched Holly at all, or if he knew Holly personally, he might know that she is a student and what time she went to class each day. However, this day was different. She had a test, so she left the house at a different time, right? How would a random stalker have known that?

So I guess it's possible that either this person knows Holly, or knew the schedule for the nursing class she was in. Perhaps he was in the class or new someone who was.

This might be someone who thought about doing this for a long time. Maybe someone who obsessed over her. Maybe the timing of Holly's test and the start of turkey season on the same day made him think this was a perfect opportunity that wouldn't come around again.

Or I've wondered if it was some stalker type who considers himself a friend of Drew. Perhaps he always obsessed about Holly, but it wasn't until Holly and Drew broke up that the person thought he could try to win Holly's affection in his own weird way?

Irish - Have we ever gotten confirmation in MSM that Drew and Holly had broken up? I know I have heard it mentioned, but I don't think it has been common knowledge, has it? I'm just wondering about that, especially with the grandmother's quote about it being the first evening they had not been together.
If they WERE broken up, I would think that alone might be a highly emotional and possibly volatile situation. I think it might have quite a bit of bearing on what happened that morning. BUT I just don't want to consider it a possible factor if it isn't an accurate report, y'know? What can you tell me about the break-up of Holly & Drew?

Perp in full camo. seems not to be unusual... it did not make clint suspicious. the camo itself while a good descriptive point may not be of great importance since everyone up there seems to wear it. NOT wearing camo would have made the suspect stand out more.

Perp possibly using an ATV. i believe LE had asked locals to look for anyone who had washed a car, changed tires, sold truck or ATV tires... I think they suspect a vehicle was used but didnt focus just on an ATV or any one type.

there is no credible evidence they broke up at all. i think its totally a rumor. you dont find reports about it becuase it didnt happen.

I dunno. Maybe even a friends boyfriend ,I have had a crazy who was so jealose of my best friend I would suspect him if she had come up missing.

If another family member was threatend I would have not expected her to be injured as fast as I would if she was the direct victim of the threat.

People who make threats agaisnt family members will normaly attack the person who they are making the claims to and not the family. Unless the suspect is a scorpio ,they just do stuff that makes you wonder what the heck...then pretend they dont have a clue either. While laughing on the inside.
