LE is being so much more forthcoming in the Sierra Lamar case...true, she has not been found as yet, but they are determined and have searched without ceasing for 5 weeks straight now and updated the community every few days about evidence found, etc...whatever happened to Sierra, I feel she has a better chance of being found than Holly. JMO

This case was "hot" at the very beginning. We have 32 threads for Holly. One of the problems, imo, is LE not releasing anything. They're keeping everything close to their vest....or they have absolutely nothing.

Also, it was a mess from the very beginning. Thousands of volunteers wanting to help in the early stages. Even though the searches may have been somewhat organized, imo letting regular folks on 4 wheelers and horses go into potential crime scene areas was a huge mistake.

And then I think we also have the battle of agencies. Local versus state versus federal, etc.

MY OPINION

It wasn't hot for even 5 weeks though...searching stopped at about two weeks. And LE was never very vocal, IMO.

(As far as the 4-yr old, there is a post above somewhere, it relates to parents covering up for their kids...as in what the poster thought could be happening here, and referenced a 4-yr old and his parents making a scene when only the well-behaved children received treats...)

Oh, ok. Gotcha now! Having been a teacher for many years and recently retired, I can relate. When I was growing up I would have had a hard time "sitting down comfortably" had my teacher informed them I was misbehaving. The lack of a tasty sucker would have been the least of my worries!

Watching AMW and caught the segment on Holly, longer than I expected...the only new thing I learned is that her hair could be back to her natural brown by now, she is not a natural blond.

Also he said that LE believes the person either knew Holly or stalked her, not random.

Her mom was on, saying how she does at least one thing a day to try to find Holly. They said she is athletic and a tomboy.

And the story changes again... Clint thought camo man was their cousin ?!? And Clint called 911 himself. Walsh also said her phone and lunch bag were both found, and had a map graphic with the items.

I caught the "cousin" part, too. Trying to pack and missed what they said about finding her phone. Where did it show they found it?

Camo Cousin?? Good grief. We learn this after over a year?

Just said phone and lunch found 8 miles from house seemingly in same general area.

FWIW, AMW is NOT always accurate...not sure if the story changed or they just got it wrong about the "cousin"...unless Holly's boyfriend was a distant cousin...

Well it was Clint speaking and reenacting how they were walking with some voice over by Walsh. Actually said it could be cousin or b/f

Okay I did not see that part...but Clint did not say cousin?

I think it was Walsh but not sure. Was very choppy with lots of editing. Holly and camo mav were said to be walking side by side, with holly on the left. The description implied they were holding hands or he had her hand, perhaps. The mans right hand was free and not holding anything.

You gotta be kidding.
These people have no credibility.
If they are trying to say he thought it was her cousin or ANYBODY other than
Drew Scott, who's name and photo was bandied about, at this late date, I can
only assume that he indeed has hired an attorney to prevent them from dragging
his name further into their most recent fairy tale.

So how did the garageaport play out?
Turkey scene?
I know, <snaps fingers>, he thought it was a turkey or it coulda been a badger...

I knew they were going to BE ALLOWED by LE to change the story again, no problem.

And I believe it was said that either the guy or both he and Holly had "bent arms".
If Holly's arms were truly bent that could mean her hands were zip-tied together in front of her. ??

Okay there are more differences here in this story from what we have heard...Clint heard "yelling", quickly called 911, etc...
I have read on other cases on AMW where they significantly dramatized and/or altered the facts...so not sure who is to blame here...

Details are so critical in these cases. AMW should make sure they are reporting accurately. One of the other cases was on a most wanted man with striking green eyes. Problem is...it would be very easy to wear contacts of another color. So, the green eyes may not even be relevant.

There was no reenactment per se. They just filmed stuff in the back yard but it was all close ups and cuts back and forth
