I don't know about a public LE statement, but in this clip, Brian Entin says "he (sheriff) did confirm with me today that both of Summer's parents did pass a polygraph test." (6 minutes, 30 seconds in.)

No, the kids didn't have "problems", the kids were neglected. Summer is missing and her brothers had to be taken out of the parents' custody, and now we know that the parents signed away their parental rights over the boys. These children didn't have problems, they deserved better and Don and Candus need to take responsability instead of repeating this "What about me? I'm suffering!" speech. When the boys were removed, they blamed CPS/DCFS, they never took responsability. They know it's their fault the boys were removed and they're not willing to do the work to get them back,that's why they signed over their parental rights.

I'm not trying to be cold or cruel but the real victims here are Summer and her brothers. Yes, I'm sure the parents have been suffering with her disappearance and the removal of the boys, but Summer is the one who's missing and whatever happened to her was bad. I've followed this case since day one and defended the parents, but I just can't anymore with how they have behaved, as a parent you need to take responsability.

While the children were in CPS custody and the parents should have been meeting the requirements to get them returned home, the father was arrested for a DUI and the mother filled a report against him for domestic violence. Come on.

Ted Bundy passed one. Gary Ridgway passed two polygraphs with flying colors. They are woefully unreliable. which is why they are not admissable in courts of law.

@horselightning I, too, have followed the disappearance of Summer Wells from the beginning. The parents have left WAY too many unverifiable statements about Summer for me personally. I just really want her to be found. Something is sus about the entire "community" involved with this.

Morning all. Don't hear much about this case anymore. Haven't heard anything from the parents in a while, or if any effort to keep Summers name out there is being made.

I think about this child everyday I'm in kingsport not far from were she went missing. We currently have TWO ACTIVE missing women here right now . I pray they aren't connected. I pray some odd man didn't grab those women up to help raise summer in some basement somewhere. I have been watching all these cases. I have ran through the sex offender list from Morristown tn all the way to jc . I have figured out that the carters valley landfill is only a 27 minute drive from summers house. And they are I believe 15-20 trucks owned by registered sec offenders that match the description of the truck that people say was driving around the area. I'm sure I'm probably off base , but I'm here to try to keep that child's name ALIVE bc her parents haven't. They even gave ducky away (summers dog) .

I must also say from Greenville tn all the way to Hawkins County, we have alot of missing teenagers . A teenage boy disappeared from his home like seabastion Roger's, this boy is from Churchill tn it happened in June-July and nobody is saying anything. Nobody Is doing anything.

Like a city location. Really trying to pinpoint that area where they were at that "memorial site" or whatever it was they had out there for her.

Probably is unrelated but since you are local, have you heard anything about this and who it may be?
It's across the county but what I found interesting is the Sheriff calls this a lengthy investigation (Started Dec 9th) and yet to release the decedents name. (I checked the property assessor and the owners have passed previously so possibly someone renting or their immediate family living here)
