A soldier commits crimes by fighting for his country?

If the jury wasn't angry before, now they should be. Most people know or know of someone who has fought for our country, some of whom have actual PTSD.

The DT is doing a great job at alienating almost every group of people (Mormons, women who lived through real abuse, soldiers, law enforcement, and parents of sons who are around Travis' age). :furious::furious:

But did he remember doing it? The hunter guy I mean.

Mentally ill people have PTSD after committing murder. Arias claims that she is not mentally ill. Arias is not deemed to be mentally ill ... so who cares that 59% of 19 mentally ill people have PTSD.

The Dr. just said that JA suffered from PTSD as a result of perpetrating the crime. So, what is the defense trying to prove? Are they just trying to explain away JA's memory loss or did this expert screw up?

PTSD=Love sack with Ryan Burns? No detachment there, fella!

What a lovely threesome they make...Arias, Nurmi and Willie.

How much is the Public Defender (aka: the State of Arizona) paying this 'expert'?

Thanks, I would love to know how much they are paid.
I'm involved in a small court case being dragged out...................

Somebody ask this guy how many of these PTSD killers only forget the things that prove their guilt.

Relatively new material . . . .. only a couple of studies . . probably could find more but there is a law of ? returns . . . . .

mentally ill patients whocommitted an act of homicide . . ..life time prevalence 58% of 29 MH patients . . . .

intrusive memories . . . perpetrtorsof violentcrime . . . 46% of 105 young offenders . . . . suggest perps of violent crime are subject todevelop PTSD symptoms . . .. JA is a perp of a violen crime is not out of step for having PTSD . . . . she admitted killing . . . not talking about te reason why . . . .having worked with violence with Police Officers . . . . those numbers were higher . . . . traumatic experience . . . . one patient killed someone during hunting accident had PTsd had to leave work and go on disability . . .he has seen it

a lot of medical malpractice cases .. . . many developed PTsd because of their injuries . . . .problems in living anger @ the doctor . . . quite a few met that criteria . . people involved in accident, injury, fire . . .. one person in MGM fire he lost his lover - the other fellow fell and died in the fire . .. . . done this over 30 years. . .

So far, it sounds to me like he is trying to say that her memory could really be gone, even if she murdered him. I am not getting any self defense here.

Interesting view of that side of the room. Plus, what is with the nose obsession?
theariasscum.jpg

If Nurmi wasn't so slow as molasses in winter I'd swear it was "snowing" in March in AZ.. I'm just saying..

Wow MGM Grand Fire? That was like 80 or 81? Is this guy retired & does witness gigs to build up his IRA?

  • #476
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that since we were yucking it up over Nurmi always "excavating his nostril" that he's been really conscious of not doing it now? Every once in a while I'd see that finger creeping into his nose and him suddenly stop doing it when he was totally unconscious about it before and digging for gold in there all the time.
:floorlaugh:

LoL, maybe that's why he looks cranky today. He's been reading what we've been saying about him and he's pizzed :floorlaugh:.
