This is bordering on embarrassing. The jurors have just spent 18 days listening to JA.

I do not see how this helps the defense in any way whatsoever. Having mental health issues, PTSD, acute stress, etc. does not give one an excuse to calmly, deliberately plan out and then violently butcher another human being.

Most people have some form of mental issue or another at some point in their lives. This is unhelpful, even useless and annoying imv.

If she wanted to claim a mental defense, that's what she should have done. This has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with self defense! You can't claim EVERYTHING! :twocents:

So are we supposed to feel sorry for her if she suffers a litte PTSD because she herself caused it by Stabbing, Slicing, and Shooting Travis.

Here is my official analysis
"What comes around goes around---so too freaken bad"

This is very new , has it ever been used in a court of law before?

How much is the Public Defender (aka: the State of Arizona) paying this 'expert'?

She seems to be quite excited that she is getting a chance to question someone!

It's her career moment. Maybe she will ask him about nervous giggling and what that can do for you when you have forgotten all your future employers are watching.

I do not understand how this dude can compare Jodi to a soldier or a police man. She planned this murder out and executed it. Not so with the soldier or policeman...

I didnt watch this morning due to work- was there a discussion about running past drop dead time? BC we are late-lol.

I'm behind you guys as Im watching on HLN but so far all ive heard from this guy is that stressful situations can affect your memory. Not exclusively situations where your life is endangered. Just stressful situations. Is murdering someone and trying to get away with it not a highly stressful situation...? Am i missing something groundreaking here? He's testifying for the state, right? ;p

How interesting he is interpreting articles for us on the stand! Why is the judge allowing this?

Next he can up there and read why Pete Rose bet on baseball!

this guy really is a gus, he's very enamored with jodi and the media attention of this case. He's playing for the camera, the audience and posing all sorts of "theories" with the assumption of her innocence which he isn't really qualified to pose or assume. The defense seems to be confident in him, but he does not perform well with professionalism as an expert witness at least to me.

I have a feeling, i could be wrong, that jm will tear him up.

gmta!!!!

Interesting view of that side of the room. Plus, what is with the nose obsession?

So, even if she doesn't remember it, a shooting, 28 stab wounds and a slit throat is not self defense. What does Arizona do? The pink needle or the toasty chair?

Unfortunately Snidley it's the pink needle. I think someone should substitute the first shot, a sedative, with battery acid....:floorlaugh:
