Seal is up!
You're lucky. I wish! Mine wants nothing to do with it.![]()
Hi all!
My strategy in the hubby dept. was to get him hooked on the trial which he is!
He gets home from work, plants himself on the couch (snacks are involved lol).
Say's "so whats been happening with JA today?" And proceeds to watch commenting all the way. One more thing, I got him to join WS so now he can't complain! But he gave up on that a long time ago:floorlaugh:

Dr. Samuels has a big gray bag that he pulls along with him that hopefully has all of his notes in order. #JodiArias
I'll be happy if we don't have to hear her speak a word today. The incessant Betty Boop like tone combined with continuous giggling tests my gag reflex.
I wonder if she's purposely doing that to ingratiate herself to the jury or is legitimately oblivious. Can't decide.

HLN is becoming such an obnoxious channel regarding this trial. I am sure at one time all the commentators whether they be attorneys, LE, etc had very successful careers. IMO, now they could all be on Jerry Springer. I think I am most disappointed with Vinnie (reminds me of a used car salesman) - "HLN after Dark" is like a REALLY bad infomercial and they are bad at best. Thank God, Mark Eiglarsh has not diminished himself a bit, in my eyes. His comments about Travis after watching his stand up routine on Dr. Drew was so touching to me~
Well, my whole morning has been screwed up and I'm not prepped for court at all. I'm all discombobulated.
:seeya: today better be more productive than yesterday I am not having a good day and I'm ready to bite someone's head off :floorlaugh:

Bringing this over from the last thread:
I think for a lot of people the problem is rationalizing that he could have felt that way but still saw her, cared for her, or had sex with her. (Depending on your personal theory as there are many.)
It doesn't make sense. It defies all logic and sense of reason. So does abuse though and many things we like to think we'd never do, tolerate or overlook abuse victims are compelled to do, tolerate and overlook. It isn't about inherent strength, willpower, or assertiveness. That comes later for victims as they become survivors.
While still in the abuse, or just coming out of it, many of their actions or inaction are a direct result of the abuse itself.

ETA: A really good example I often use is me screaming bloody murder to my ex-husband in public if he was going to kill me to just get on with it already. It was irrational and foolish, and something I'm not likely to do again, but at the time I was hurting, angry, confused, exhausted and absolutely drained from the threats.

Nor does mine!
Someone on the last thread asked if JA was tested for malingering. I'm kind of dumb.... What is that?
We have seal.
We have seal...
