Ok for those worried...

AT THIS time the only thing on the table is
1 degree premed
1 degree felony

the jurors only vote guilty (not decide penality in fact they aren't even supposed to be thinking about that right now I believe).

or not- quilty - self defense (she walks)

And SD - she can only meet force that a reasonable person would use to get away (I think that's how it is worded).

Do you think her testimony (lies/changing/adding) shows SD even if they are buying some of this PTSD stuff? Not making any point just asking a question.

"You said that a person can get transient global amnesia from sex and hot water. Can you also get it from a bad haircut?" ~ Juror question, paraphrased

:floorlaugh:

I once heard Donald Trump say on Celebrity Apprentice (yes I actually watched it a few times, LOL) that he had no respect for a person who does not realize they are being insulted.

After hearing these questions and his responses, I don't think the doctor realizes, and I don't think the jury respects him. :moo:

It's so encouraging to see Travis's siblings there every single day.

Let's hope that their ever-present visages help to hold that jury accountable.

I am hating the jurors questions

I'm concerned about some of them too. Some appear to award value to the shrink's opinions, particularly regarding his view on the claimed 'lost memories'. I know others have encouragingly asked him if she could have faked the loss but the stark fact remains, it only takes one with a shred of doubt.

We here have the benefit of wide-ranging reports and commentary so we can dismiss the guy more readily. I fear a unanimous verdict may only be reached if several the jurors have the strength of character to plead the case again during deliberation and use their powers of persuasion. :please:

After closing statements we should have a bet on how long it will take for them to reach a verdict. I say one day and I'm being real generous!

I'll say less than 3 hours. :truce:

Isn't it about 4 hours from travis' house to Hoover Dam in Nevada? Covered in Blood? If she came out of "fog" after all that time, there is No Way you could 'wash blood off' with water from Costco.

It seems as if the jurors are very astute.

Bad haircut....bahahahahaha

Yeah, 4 hours old blood. Dried. There is no way she cleaned them well with a water bottle.

I have a feeling the jury will be much more likely to believe the rebuttal psychologist, whom I'm sure will refute nearly all of his testimony. I think, hope and pray that Juan is saving the slam dunk for rebuttal.
His expert psychologist, secret magazine messages, gas can proof and god knows what else. He has been sleeping, eating and living this case for the better part of five years and it shows. I have 100% confidence that the jury will find her guilty without a doubt in the end. It's not over til it's over.

Yes, and just by the very nature of the beast(JA=psych) -JM has tons of ammo.

Oh I need to see a pic of JW's face when the doc mentioned the "get out of jail free card"......that was priceless!!

Before trial could start this morning Nurmi was speaking/complaining about something and all of a sudden the seal is back up and the judge calls the attorneys into chambers. Soon after JM escorts TA's family into a side room. After the session began Travis's family confirmed that the DT had requested that everyone remove their blue ribbons. Travis's family refused but everyone else had to.

Thank you kindly, Novice Seeker. I am sure that removing the ribbons would be difficult for the family BUT maybe it would be better than giving the DT a reason to claim that they are trying to influence the jury.

Jinkasaurus seems upset that the jury might think JA is still lying? Is she the Prez of her fan club?

something happened to Jinka - she used to be pretty good- relatively neutral and informative; things changed with the Casey Anthony case when she had her nose up the butts of the Baez/Mason duo-- with the anthony case and now this one she seems to want to find redemption for these two monsters. always looking for the good (there isn't any Jinka, there just isn't- they are both evil)

Before court DefenseTeam in chambers - They all come out and someone asks TA's family to remove ribbons in support of TA/justice. This was reported by Tweeters.

Now we are finding out that the supporters have complied BUT TA's family has declined to remove the ribbons.

Good for them
Alexander family!
Stand your ground against these <mod snip>

7 hours, just to make it look good.

What happens if a juror cannot handle the financial strain this lengthy trial might be causing them? I need to check my company's policy. Although I have never been called to JD.

According to Samuels, her "story" has a beginning (gun) and an end (Hoover Dam) but no middle (29 stabs,1 throat slice, frenzied cleanup). I'm sick if his referring to "her story" as if the little part he's describing is complete.

I'd like to hear Samuels explain how Arias navigated her way from Travis' house to the Hoover Dam checkpoint (not a straight shot) if she was under "acute stress" and in a fog ...

He said he dx'd her with a personality disorder... That only juror question I want asked of him is "what personality disorder"?

The haircut trauma question was the funniest! :floorlaugh:

Didn't someone say that one of the Jurors may be a hair dresser...lol.

He was a lot more composed today. I did like some of his explanations....but lordy he was a bad example of an "expert." Waste of educational money in his part....so sad.
