Does that work? I'll try anything!

Oh, I'm sorry, I don't think so. It's from the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The father swore that Windex cured everything.

Does the jury know that a gun was stolen from her grandparents home a couple of weeks prior to TA's death?
Yes, they know that a .25 gun was stolen from the grandparents' home on May 28 and that Travis was shot with the same caliber gun. During her testimony, Jodi denied any involvement in the burglary at her grandparents' home; claimed she never saw the gun while living in their home, etc.

Earlier I posted a screen shot of Victor Arias being an exchange student. If JA went to Costa Rica it stands to reason that her high school would have that information because it had Victor's exchange student info.

How can you be an exchange student if you're failing? Don't you take the cream of the crop? IIRC Jodi said after two weeks his parents were hiding him from her?

I posted Mensa membership requirements upthread. With an average IQ of 119, Jodi does not qualify for Mensa. She would need an overall IQ score of 130 on the test that Dr. DeMarte administered to qualify. A high score on one element of the test does not quality one for Mensa.

Jodi has no conscience, no ethics, no morals. Doesn't matter how smart she thinks she is.

Ok Bette---my point is that I don't think that peeps here on WS understand that an *average* overall IQ of 119 is bright. And clearly scoring a 136 in any segment of the test is quite bright. Many people do not know what their formalized IQ is via appropriate and approved platforms.

What is your opinion of 119 as an average score on a proctored, standardized IQ test?

If so, wonder what hair color she had at the time? Since the DT entered into evidence the picture of her and her sister taken in May with JA with brown hair, I would think this evidence would be allowed as part of a rebutal if it shows her with blonde hair June 3-4. That would show that she dyed her hair during her road trip from CA to AZ. Hope that is the case.

Wonder if banks keep records for that long?

i would think she had enough sense to know that her white/blonde thing hair needed to be darker bc blood would stain it. but im probably giving her too much credit

So was thinking again about Jodi dragging Travis back to the shower.

I still can't fathom how she physically did this? Part of me thinks there was a 3rd party involved. What do you guys think?

Read an article last night speculating that JA's claim on the state to pay for her defense could be revisited in light of the monies paid for art. Wouldn't it be great if she had to pay that money to Arizona for all those hours that the DT stalled and ALV and Dr Samuels blathered?

That's what should happen IMO. Hopefully the taxpayers of Arizona will do something about it - the DT has wasted enough of their money imo.

Looks like we posted similar responses at the same time upthread. Admittedly curious about Jodi's scores in the other areas of the test--clearly much lower than the 136 in verbal to bring down the full scale IQ to 119.

I love this blog, so funny!

Deanna Reed, close friend and former girlfriend of Travis, testified that in the seven years she was in a relationship with him, he was never once abusive in any way. So naturally, charming prince Heavy D Nurmi took the opportunity to ask all kinds of graphic questions about their sex life, and generally skeeve everyone the hell out.

For my part, I'm pleased to announce that I have never been there and shall never go.

You have never been to the site or you have never felt sorry for her? Either way, I get it. But someone posted the site on the thread a few pages back, laughing about it. So I read what Jodi had to say about herself. Then I understood why the poster was doing this:
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Jodi is the only person who thinks she is all that.

I get offers from companies that organize these sorts of trips for small groups of students all the time. They want a professor to lead the trip to lend it some "educational" imprimatur. Some of these are really not much more than tour packages. The educator receives the trip for free is a certain number of students sign up. They are not the same as accredited study abroad programs where curriculum is required as part of the experience abroad.

Some short programs can provide small amounts of college credit. I'm not saying that all are the same.

I just had the chance to get caught up with the trial, I had to leave for an appt yesterday so I just finished watching the days testimony. I was thrilled with Juan and felt he really hit several home runs for the state but at the very end of the day Jodi and her atty were very happy - too happy..wth?? PLEASE tell me that the bogus manslaughter charge has not been allowed! I hope not but I cannot see why they would be so happy. I literally feel sick with the thought she would get manslaughter..anyone have an idea?

No need to be sorry. Been a while since I saw that movie....maybe he's right!

This maggot is even more vile than we previously thought. That's just sick. I wonder if Arias had a hand in that young man's death, as in the power of suggestion or buying weapons together. And using his life struggles for a story, combined with that picture of young Travis (cartoon underpants) and his Dad...= Travis pedophile lies by Jodi.

I still do not understand why Jodi's BPD is left there to stand alone, when it is clear she's a psychopath to a greater degree. I feel so sorry for people with BPD that might be compared to Jodi and I hope they do not despair, do that to themselves. This psychopath Jodi knows the difference between right and wrong, knows the law but does not care unless it is to her advantage.
More lives that Jodi used and trashed in her games, the Freeman family.

Yet stigmatizing people with a different diagnosis than BPD is ok? Its all based on the incorrect premise that mental illness or personality disorders cause people to kill, which they do not. I wish we could get away from the fixation on irrelevant factors...

No third party IMO. JA is stronger than she looks (maybe not now but back then). She had taken some martial arts classes as well. Plus the floor was wet, easy to drag on a wet floor. She was probably physically exhausted afterwards though.JMO:seeya:

I was a bit worried about the Jury question to Deanna Reed asking if the Laws of Chastity were widely known?? What does this have to do with the murder of Travis??
Well...

Jodi wants the jury to believe Travis lied to her and manipulated her into 'humiliating, degrading', even deviant, sex. Believing that scenario could bolster her claims of intimate partner violence which then supports self-defense. That question rather shreds Jodi's martyr act, in my opinion.
