R: Ever been exposed to crime?

O: Everybody in SA has been exposed to crime...my father' house in Joburg was ransacked. We got back of holiday, intruder cut himself, left blood all over the wall. At my mother's house too...my father's been carjacked twice, my brother's had break ins...my home was broken into in 2005, when I was competing in Manchester. Got a call from my neighbour. My TV, laptop stolen when I got back and car roof was cut.

Then once intruders got in my house and kicked my Jack Russell. And I've been shot at on the highway. In four months I'm at home I travel a lot...requires me to travel a lot, late at night. One time, cdriving back from Joburg car came up behind me, I saw the muzzle flash. I pulled off the highway. I don't recall who I phoned.

Don't believe the drug denial, he hesitated too long

Yes, I thought that quite telling when I heard it .. it almost sounded like he was trying to decide whether to admit to something or not, and then decided 'not'!

O: With Miss Taylor I was followed one night. Called security at my estate and told them. There, I jumped out and distanced myself from car. Put my hand on weapon but didn't draw it. Gentlemen in the car sped off.

Before lunch break OP said he did not drink on the boating accident day.

After lunch break Roux brought the topic up again and OP said he did drink.

Good catch!

The drinking can be taken any way you choose.

If you say you don't have a single drink, people won't believe you.

If you say one drink, people will say 'yeah right'.

If you have quite a few when you get the chance, you're a raging party animal.

Take your pick.

AFAIK alcohol limits for boating are the same with driving limits in SA (whatever they happen to be)

R: Ever assisted anyone caught in a crime?

O: Two men one night were pulling a woman around, I told them to leave her alone.....Coming back from a training session car and taxi skipped a robot....they smashed a window, dragged the guy out and started beating him with rocks in the face....I drew my firearm and pointed it at them.....they fled. the guy was bleeding all over....everytime he tried to stand up he fell over...blood everywhere.....I called netcare.

But in this specific case, we are asked to believe that he was boating ALL DAY with friends and family, and only had one drink, that he can remember anyway, and then inexplicably ran into a rock and tore his face open.

I think I will take my pick, and assume he was a bit drunk. [ have you ever watched COPS?]

OP claims he was followed home one night. 2 occupants in the vehicle. Phoned his estate security - told them he was being followed.

Claims he didn't draw his gun, but kept it at his hip.

This contradicts ST's testimony. She stated that he pointed it at the other car's window.

IMO, the fact that he says he phoned his estate security during that particular incident raises questions (that many of us have raised already) as to why he didn't contact estate security on the morning he allegedly heard the noise that he claims led to him shooting & killing Reeva.

Re drugs:

O: I smoked once after my mother passed away. Says otherwise, he doesn't do drugs or enhancement substances that are prohibited in his sport.

bbm Actually he said "are not prohibited"... lol I'm pretty sure he just misspoke but there is the possibility his subconscious is trying to confess for him..

It would also have been far simpler just to say "yes I like a drink but only off season". If anybody now has footage of him drunk at a party during the racing season then he loses credibility.

And he just keeps on incriminating himself ....oops. :floorlaugh:

I threatened two big blokes on my puny disabled legs with my big gun and I didn't even get scared enough to shoot them. Just wow.

O: December 2012 I was assaulted. Gentleman at a party warned me I was being threatened, spoken about by someone.....later I heard him talking on the phone. Later, I was hit on the head. Had bump and black eyes. Two days later I complained.....I didn't want a make a big thing. Didn't want it in the media. I never got my side of the story across. I left it at that.

"Then once intruders got in my house and kicked my Jack Russell"

I'd love to read all the police reports he filed (or didn't), but especially that one.

Aha! They are going to call mental ineptitude! Schizophrenic. Not of his right mind. Delusional. Paranoid.

I'm bored of his droning.

O: I chose that estate (silverwds) because it was further out of the city. My house, 27, was one of the first developed. Contraactor working on my estate was a victim of crime. They used a ladder to break into his home.......another contracter working there got through estate security and broke into a woman's house, tied her up.

OMG, all this crime where he lives .. and he never thought to put a lock on his bathroom window, and *use* it!! I don't believe half of this guff ..

The Sun is not very well respected, but the alleged new girlfriend has been named and photos of her published. So I would expect to see denials from her if it wasn't true.

I agree about the The Sun but and I do not read it but I have noted over the last few years (when cases get to court) they are very often first with the news, especially with public misdeeds. I don't think they would have published this without knowing it was fact.

O: Night of the 13th I was talking to my cousin on phone, he just bought a VW golf. I told him not to come because those cars get hijacked a lot here....there's a syndicate specializing in stealing them. The man doing it....laughed at police. I was aware of the crime we had in our area.

I'm bored of his droning.

Me too! Lots and lots of preparation showing. Very well scripted. This kind of stuff won't work with Mr. Nel's questions.
