The metal plate. It was a bath panel. Big dent....did that get hit with the bat too? Or kicked?

oh wow thanks....lawd, wonder how that happened??? From the layout of the bathroom, that panel is nowhere near the door..unless it was hit if OP swung back while hitting door...very odd!

He said some of their evidence is not in the report, yes. I think its code for CYA, personally, as the entire defence team and accused are huddled around the door 'trying out' different angles.

Oscar shouldn't need to try out different angles. He was at the scene, he should know what the angles were .... interesting.

Here is the floorplan of bathroom/toilet. It looks to me that the bath could have been bashed while someone was swinging a bat at the toilet door, but there aren't measurements so it's hard to be sure.

I think perhaps you misunderstood. The sneakiness is that evidence is being brought up in court that has not been handed to the Defence. This is considered a no-no. All evidence has to be handed over.

Were there splinters in RS' fingers or wood under her nails?

I agree and i appreciate that rules are rules, i just think maybe sneaky isn't the right term, but that could well be because i believe the guy who is being sneaky is sitting in the dock.

Regarding the door, Roux is also likely to point out that any evidence regarding the door might be inadmissible as it could possibly have been tampered with after a police bungle last year...

If after loosening the panel with the bat strike , it appears he prised it partly loose near the lock with the tip of the bat. If so, it's possible that he may have seen where RS was positioned before shooting.

I find it hard to believe that OP could not stand on his stumps unbalanced. This has been his life and he would LONG be adjusted.

From his understanding the rubber grip was removed for forensic purposes. He received bat April 26th. No grip then.

If he had enough balance to fire a firearm, I would think he would have enough balance to hit a door with a cricket bat. Witness states that while he may have lost his balance, he doesn't know what it would be like had he gone without legs for his whole life. It's not a fair comparison and he balks at being asked to demonstrate again. (not verbatim)

But Col can't say as he was not onscene at that time.

Col says he did not compare crimes scene photos of door when he did examination. No aware of any additional marks to ones he saw Mar 8th.
