Rafferty detailing string of girlfriends he lived with.

Oh so now we're hearing straight from the horse's mouth, MR did know Tara. VERY damaging for sure. Another woman he was fooling around with. Wonder what Amanda is like? Just as bad as TLM? Did MR try to get Amanda to abduct Tori? Could that be why she dumped MR? She knew he was bad and evil? I wonder if Amanda will be called as a witness. :woohoo:He admits to "knowing of TLM" and being a bad person but didn't know her last name?! I knew MR stalked her out to carry out HIS PLAN. The jury is now shown a video from a movie cinema in Woodstock on March 25, 2009. Det. Const. Darmon says the video allegedly shows Rafferty and McClintic. The Crown says an expert witness will be called later in the trial to identify the people in the clip

Is anyone surprised that the drug connection in Guelph was TLM's connection? I think most had assumed because it was in Guelph that it was MR's. I was going to respond last night in regard to someone's post about the unlikelihood of TLM's violence escalating from Gangsta Rap, assaults to murder of a little girl. I was going to comment that it is a gradual increase of violence. My example being that it is common for killers to start as children with cruelty to animals and eventually killing people. hmmm....couldn't have predicted the microwaved dog scenario she admitted to today. OMG

Under cross-examination, Det. Const. Darmon says Rafferty had no criminal record when his name was brought to the attention of the police around the time of Tori's disappearance.

No, he did not say that he KNEW TM ... he said that he had been seeing Amanda, the mother of a friend of TSs ... it is more than likely that any gossip he heard and repeated was from Amanda.... no doubt in my mind if the girls were friends then Amanda knew about TM ... it wasn't exactly a big secret around town and every mother checks out their daughter's friends and their families before the kids start hanging out as best friends.

As for poor Amanda's association with MR I do not for a moment think that she should be cast in the same light as TLM ... that is a real stretch considering that there is nothing out there to indicate same ... really, she knew the guy for a coupla weeks and dumped him. I don't think we are supposed to be projecting here onto the minor players in this case. End of story there.

In any case, I would expect that Amanda will be one of the 100 or so witnesses called in this case .... prob under the chapter about what MRs comments were to others regarding the case. Then we will know what she thought of him initally and why she dropped him - prob cause of his car :moo:

I sure got the impression that the story was told to LE or Derstine by TLM's relative. Why on earth would TLM make up a story like that?

We don't know that yet, MR said it was TLM's connection, TLM said it was a friend of MR's. BA is scheduled to testify, we will find out then.
