When it was mentioned that MR's mother came home (while MR was being interviewed) and then left....does anyone else find this extremely odd?!?!?

If it was my son, in my home with a man in a uniform or a suit sitting interviewing him, I would be right in there finding out WTH it was about. With her leaving leads me to believe she knew something or had speculation about this.

Wow Matou! You may be onto something. I won't be surprised if that was the place he made the suggestion of breaking into with TLM. He may have been thinking he could restrain this woman while TLM made off with her daughter. OMG. He "fooled around" with this woman and obviously was shunned by her. I sure hope in the time they "fooled around" MR was never left alone with her daughter. OMG I feel so sick. :what::moo:

Absolutely no evidence has been presented to support this theory ... and we are only supposed to be discussing the evidence that has been presented at trial with the jury present ... it is probably better not to conjecture at this point.

just wanted to mention that MR cannot call VS by name, he calls her "the girl that is missing"

Why did he have to identify his company? JMO

Funny how when Rafferty was interviewed by the police the first time he said he hardly knew TLM, yet there is all this evidence that he knew her alot more than he said. So he lied?

Matou, you are reviving my memory with those names. Was it on YouTube videos and on Kijiji that someone on here found comments made by someone using those names?

I believe it was Mychol that had an account on some kind of chat site? Anyone remember digging that up at one point during the early investigation?

I don't think there is any way the dog story can be verified. That's her story. JMO

My theory is that CM thought that breeding the dogs was worth $400 in Oxys, hence the drug debt when it didn't pan out.

Thus far, I think the Crown was shell shocked and unprepared when they learned TLM had changed her statement.......just prior to the opening of the trial.

They had built their case around key witness TLM, and believed her eyewitness account would justify some of the charges against MTR.

TLM successfully manipulated experienced police investigators and Crown prosecutors into believing what she told them.

To say the credibility of TLM would be challenged in this trial, is an understatement of epic proportions.

TLM has absolutely zero credibility left. Nothing she says can be believed, and evidence must be gathered from other sources.

We wait to discover what evidence the Crown will present, that will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that MTR demonstrated criminal intent and is guilty of abduction, rape, and murder.

Respectfully and JMHO but I do not feel the Crown was shell shocked at all. Matter of fact if they were, they would have cross examined TLM to clarify issues the defense brought forward. The Crown's purpose of having TLM testify was for her to tell the jurors the story of what happened. As we all know there were only three people present that horrific day; one who is deceased, one who is pleading not guilty and one who was present and knows the truth. I am feeling pretty certain the Crown knew TLM was going to make a full confession as to murdering Tori. Being as she admitted to murdering Tori in January, the Crown would have been privy to this information. HTH, :moo:

MOO also I see TLM as being an honest witness on the stand through this trial. At this point and time she has absolutely nothing to lose by telling the truth. I did not see anything by Derstine to show MR was not involved. Matter of fact he is claiming his client was there and participated in the abduction. IMHO all Derstine did was show TLM's evil tendencies and nothing more. I almost wonder who Derstine is supporting as he has admitted MR presences. I assume because the sexual assault charges also stand, forensics were able to find evidence. Well just have to be patient and wait for that evidence. :moo:

ugh feels so queezy about the audio tape of MTR. His own defense admits he helped clean up crime scene...and on video tape with police after the murder...he is talking cool as a cucumber to them. Gulp...who can do that? IMO

Footnote: After reading this interview, he is a liar too. IMO
