For all we know TLM and MR have a VERY dirty secret among them that neither will admit or "rat" who knows, maybe both of them would prefer to be protected in prison since they were going to go there anyway. This pimp testimony is probably making the defense shake in their shorts because if I was on this jury, the only thing crossing my mind at this time would be did he abduct her to sell her.

One of the other women testified something about him going on about how some kids get kidnapped and then grow up thinking someone else is their parents ! Maybe he had a whole other plan !!!

Not necessarily, IMO.
If he was interested in children, his interest in mature women would be to get to their children. It seems most of these women had children. Perhaps the under age youth that would have access to a computer were simply too young. And childless themselves. Pedos that want access to very young children would find a woman who has children so he can have access to them.

Using TLM as an example. It has been reported that she was molested as a child. I have been left with the impression that this was a recurring theme in her life -- it happened with multiple men. Men her mother was dating. Men who likely chose her mother so they can have access to her child.



In my opinion, his interest in women with children does in fact convince me of what his interests were. He was interested in women with children to the point where he became involved with a woman while she was pregnant with another man's child. Not too many men would be interested in that... moo.

In my opinion, the Crown should have gone in that direction if that was what they were trying to prove or even contemplated. The fact that they did not allows me to stand firmly by my posting. IMO

Out of sincere curiosity and respect, how do people do this before a trial has completed? More precisely, how do people wish for a death sentence on an accused, without hearing all the facts? There is an entire other half of a trial to be heard as of yet. JMO

Maybe we weren't the only ones surprised by today's testimony.

Some might think that it was MR that did this, according to original testimony and the results of the lie detector test and after the testimony today, where it became quite obvious that MR knew exactly how to get a lovelorn teen to do his bidding. I really have to wonder what transpired in all those jail visits that made TLM retract her earlier statements.

If they can not prove it, they aren't going to use that in this trial. The defence would not allow it without concrete proof. Plus, if there was proof that he molested any of these children, that would likely be a new, separate charge, and a new, separate trial.

And perhaps he never had access to these children and never got around to acting on his desires. Doesn't mean he didn't want to.

The fact that he was interested in women with children leaves me to conclude, in my opinion, that it is highly possible that he was interested in children and wished access to these children. JMO.

Charity completely incriminated herself on the stand today to testify against Rafferty. She may or may not have had to do that. It took alot of courage.

That says alot, IMO.

I hope she is able to stop turning tricks, and get her life in order, and move on. She has 5 beautiful children to care for. Hopefully, she gets some help.

The one that said they were arguing today. Well what was the argument about?

The baby died. How did the baby die and was it MTR's baby?

What comments did he say to these women that turned them off and pretty much not want to see him again?

What did he say to manipulate all these women?

Did he act overly friendly around your child? Did you leave your child alone with him?

I could think of so many more. I am just baffled at what the crown has not done.

Maybe I am missing something. I know they are doing a good job and maybe we arent hearing some stuff??

Kudos to her for coming forward with the information.

Once again, a female in this case has more courage than MTR.

I don't see him as a pimp. He was not supplying clients, she was probably advertising online at his suggestion. He just talked her into it. And manipulated her emotions to make her think he was her exclusive man who was going to marry her. And I'm sure he would have liked to find another one to double his payday, hence all the "fishing".

You know, one could easily solicit on POF, posing as a woman looking for a man. Who knows how many of the women on there are actually hookers being advertised by their pimps.

I am thinking the same...but I would HOPE that they are asking everything that is allowable and will help their case. Some things are just not allowable in cases (in general) and it really bites!!
