If she was on welfare and escorting on the side, had custody of all 5 children at that time she would have brought in $1500-2000 a month with all the child tax credits etc, I guess not including welfare money, or any child support money.

Just pointing out that she may not have needed the money. JMO

I can't speak for anyone else, but I can read between the lines. Who cares if she was the one who raked in the money or some other poor girl they may have exploited, he still lived off the avails of prostitution.

I think what they meant by volunteering the info is that they didn't have ring it out her when she was interviewed by crown. She could have just not told them that at all, she could have said they were just friends with benefits or something. JMO

And you won't see any evidence that they are because MTR is so good at what he does, at manipulating them. That said, Judge Heeney made it clear today that his character flaws are not to be considered as evidence. So whatever they may want to say is not being said.

Out of sincere curiosity and respect, how do people do this before a trial has completed? More precisely, how do people wish for a death sentence on an accused, without hearing all the facts? There is an entire other half of a trial to be heard as of yet. JMO

It is because we follow these cases from day one, all through the searches and the investigation, the arrests and then follow the trial.

Members of the jury don't do that, and/or if they do and are honest with the court, they will be excluded from the jury.

There is no rule here that says "innocent until proven guilty." That's for a court of law. When we watch the story unfold, read everything, sleuth everybody, etc., etc. making judgment calls is to be expected.

PS - not to mention the evidence that has been presented. For me, I can think of absolutely no reason for Tori's blood to be mixed with sperm. I'm not buying that he dripped at some earlier time and left it on the door molding - nor am I buying that the blood in the bag mixed w/MR's blood was put there by TLM. Just not happening for me.

Prostitution is the exchange of sex for money.

Escorts exchange their time for money.
Still looking for any references to prostitution in the testimony.

I do not think i have heard these witnesses call themselves victims at all so no way to know if that is how they feel.

I'm sure they won't shout it out to the world that they feel like victims. Or used.

Thanks for that response Salem, you hit the nail right on the head. I'm so thrilled to be a part of Websleuths, especially now that I am seeing things we found out turning out to be true. Most of what has come out we were expecting, although I didn't expect the escort to admit to it in court. that caught me off guard. It's so great to communicate here with people who are compassionate about Tori and getting justice for her, people who are intelligent and have oodles of common sense. So thanks to all the peeps posting tweets, to the mods for patience and to all the members here because little Tori has captured our hearts.

If this board is not 100 % for sure he is guilty I think that the jury might have the same problem because the way I see it if we averaged out what people on here think lets say 8 to 2 in favor of MR being guilty we have to assume those same numbers could be the jury. I would be extremely upset if the jury can't agree.

I don't think she could have made over 16K in 6 months if sex was not involved. Besides, the word escort is a nice, politically correct word which means the same thing as prostitute. Personals couldn't print the words 'prostitute looking to make money' so they came up with the word escort. It's a bit naive to think it's not the same

I think the jury is hearing more than we are getting from tweets, also they can see how MR reacts to things and we can't. Also they get to see the things the defense objects to, put all of those things together and I am confident they will find him guilty as charged. Sure hope so anyway!
