Phew, just caught up to the thread. I'm so happy, i need a breather and some fresh air

Nice headline by the National Post...............
Calling the witness a prostitute?
I heard she was an escort...........not a prostitute.
Was there any testimony that the witness was a prostitute?
JMO.........
We discussed me getting into the escorting business, which I did, she said, adding that whatever money was made would go to him.
There was a loud gasp in the courtroom when Spitzig said that and at least one juror visibly recoiled.

I wouldn't mind making $18,000 in a few months to give away to my "friend/business partner" just by having dinner with lonely guys.... Hmmmm.... I think one can assume the obvious!
Even though we can make the assumption, I can't believe that the newspaper took the liberty of using the word prostitute. Can she not come after them for that.MOO
She got manipulated.
Wow, just got home and way behind. Looks like they saved the best witness for last.
And I hope to hell she never left her kids alone with him.
I googled 70 Tennyson Street (Rafferty's home) and there is a police car in the driveway. Something tells me that they put one in the picture after the fact. lol.

It sure doesn't look like she shied away from the cameras! Other than BA isn't this the first one who's picture was shown?
At least one inmate was injured Friday morning at the Elgin-Middlesex Detention Centre after an apparent stabbing inside the provincial jail.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services wouldn't confirm the stabbing, but said an "incident" had occurred there.
Two released men standing outside the detention centre, waiting for rides home, said there had been a stabbing.
"Everything went crazy and they called a code blue," said one of the two men, who did not want to be identified. "I heard some guy got it."
If this board is not 100 % for sure he is guilty I think that the jury might have the same problem because the way I see it if we averaged out what people on here think lets say 8 to 2 in favor of MR being guilty we have to assume those same numbers could be the jury. I would be extremely upset if the jury can't agree.
When I saw the trial update on my local news they showed her by herself, and then chatting it up with the girl that testified after her, and then they showed her talking to Tara outside.
After his arrest, the house was secured until the investigation was over. The same with TLM's house. LE didn't want people coming and going and compromising evidence.I googled 70 Tennyson Street (Rafferty's home) and there is a police car in the driveway. Well, I suppose they could have been a bit more politically correct and called her a sex worker. In my opinion, "prostitute" sounds more classy than "sex worker", though.Even though we can make the assumption, I can't believe that the newspaper took the liberty of using the word prostitute. To get in handouts--I wonder where her kids were when she was out escorting?
