Two mothers: a picture is worth a thousand words

This comment has always seemed "off" to me, and it just dawned on me WHY...
TH KNEW that his jacket and backpack were still at school. If she had left him there, and he had wandered off, or been lured out of the school by a stranger, he might have taken his coat, and possibly his backpack (depending on the circumstances/ruse used to lure him away), yet TH knew this was not the case. She knew this because she knew that Kyron left the school without those items. In essence, she knew they were still there to "prove" she had left him there because she knew she had left them for that very reason when she removed him. Had she truly left Kyron at school with these items, as she claimed, and he had subsequently been abducted, she would not have known that he did not take either item with him when he went wherever he went. Does that make ANY sense?

I can't find the original quote...when did TH say this? To play Devil's Advocate, isn't it possible that she found this out on the Friday he went missing when she and Kaine went to the school? The same time the school called Desiree and Desiree called Terri's cell phone?

Kaine and Terri probably found his coat and backpack in the classroom when they drove to the school to look for Kyron on June 4.

It's from the June 5th emails - the one where she says she told the teacher she was going to look at other exhibits, how do you mess that up - those ones. And yes, I think both TH and KH knew by June 5th that his backpack and jacket were left at the school (and the project).

At some point, the statement that these items were left behind was "discredited" or at least unable to be verified, as it was removed from the FACTS thread. It may since have been re-added, but I was under the impression this was not officially confirmed.

Just throwing this out there, but as a parent I think I'd frantically look around and ask: is his lunch box here, is the lunch still in it, was he here to eat his lunch? was his backpack in the same place we left it this morning? what about his jacket? etc. So I think they'd have looked for them while searching the school for him.

IIRC this is correct. KH stated in a press conference that these items were at "home now." I believe he also stated that there taken from the classroom, by them, on Friday, June 4th.

Yes, he stated that in a presser. Desiree also stated that the police kept the project as evidence. I don't understand why the jacket and backpack were given back, but not the project. Fingerprints?

When Terri looks up at Desiree, it almost looks like she's smiling a bit. She could be consciously blocking Kaine and Desiree from each other, since it is their child who is missing and she may be worried that it could conjure up emotions between them. We need another photo of Terri truly sad or upset about something to compare with these presser images. Some people can look like they're about to laugh when they are about to cry. I doubt this is the case with Terri. OT: Terri has one of the most severe cases of sanpaku eyes I've ever seen.

Sanpaku Eyes...found this "detail" particulary interesting:

[ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanpaku[/ame]
When the bottom part of the white part of the eye known as the sclera is visible it is referred to as 'Yin Sanpaku' by the Chinese. According to the myth, it represents physical imbalance in the body, and is claimed to be present in alcoholics, drug addicts and people who over consume sugar or grain.

Thanks JBean..."9/10 You'd spot Hannibal Lector in seconds at an open source conference. My liver is safe...yippee! :woohoo:

Thanks Beatrice for that shot...priceless!

Then what is that hard line just under her bustline? That is what looks suspicious. And it wouldn't surprise me if Houze got her a vest just to shore up his "DEATH THREATS!" statement and elicit sympathy for his client.
My guess is the white top underneath rode up (causing a slight horizontal fold) during the drive to the courthouse because of a poorly sized blazer buttoned at just above the natural waistline. Another indication of a poor fit are the sleeves of the blazer with Terri's biceps squeezed into them (see puckers). ;)

Yep! sure does look like it'd work to me...

Except...that the comparisons shown indicate the BPV or Body Armour to rise higher up on the chest and to be constructed of two pieces a white plastic shield beneath the black padded vest. I believe you would definitely see that division under the top Terri is wearing under her Blazer (not to mention the dark contrast of black & white).
jmho...

Except, Terri Horman has breast implants and that will affect how it sits on the chest.

Lol...then Houze did a poor job of properly fitting & protecting his client since that vest left a fair amount of breast plate uncovered.

I totally agree with that.

I think the white part is a fabric tank top. It is not part of the body armour. It is more clear if you go back a page and see the original photo with the two women in the shields.

It could also be a bra that no longer fits as well as it once did.

After looking again, I don't see anything in the pic other that the trim on both sides of the jacket collar and lapel, her chest area really supported tightly by what looks like a support bra, and being very buxom which makes the jacket stick out a little just under the area.
