Is it possible she was abducted from her bedroom while the parents slept, and when they woke up in the morning, they realized she was gone, but her body was found before they woke?

What are the times that everything happened?

Also, LE would be able to find out whether the parents owned the truck. Even if they got rid of it, they could ask neighbors or maybe check records?

IMO, I don't think this. If the reports of decomp is true.

Children in the residential Tarrant County neighborhood found the body of a dead little girl underneath a tarp on Monday evening.

And her father was asking neighbors if they saw her around 8 PM....

Not if she was already partially decomposed. :(

Neighbor says the victim's Father knocked on his door asking if he had seen his daughter around 8pm #SaginawMurder

A couple hours after she was found, right? So he didn't know she'd been missing. I wonder if the parents came home from work and she was gone and had been left with a trusted person/family/sitter, etc. and that person was gone when parents got home as well.

ETA Babbling Brook ....... could you live on a street with a more childlike, fun, joyful name than that ? It should be a glorious life.

FBI aiding investigators after body of young girl found in Saginaw

SAGINAW — A young girl was found dead beneath a tarp Monday evening, about two hours before police received a report of a missing girl, Saginaw Police Chief Roger Macon said Tuesday.

Two teens discovered the body of a girl about 4 to 6 years old shortly before 7:30 p.m. near Roundrock Drive and Cindy Lane. About 9:15 p.m., police received a report of a missing girl, Macon said.

“They (the family) reported that they had been looking for a child,” he said. “Their home is less than two miles from where the body of the girl was found.”

I wonder when the child was last seen by the neighbors other then the family because of the decomposition.

Who waits (a minimum of) an hour 15 minutes to report their 6-year-old missing?

SNIPPED............................

The neighborhood is northeast of Old Decatur Road and West McLeroy Boulevard. Willow Creek Park is about a block east of the area.

“This is a very quiet neighborhood,” said officer Damon Ing, a police spokesman.
Witnesses reported seeing a red pickup about the same time the body was found, Ing said. A witness told police that the back right panel may have been marked with what appeared to be a splatter of green paint.

Someone who is walking from house to house trying to determine where their child is .......

Why would that take you 1 hour 15 minutes? Why couldn't you call 911 first, and then check with neighbors? When your 6-year-old is missing, time is of the essence. You don't waste 1 hour 15 minutes + questioning everyone in town before you contact LE.

I would imagine that the parents were not thinking she was abducted, probably thinking she was at a friends house playing, I don't really know just an opinion

This is going to end up being very bad. I can't imagine what she must have endured. Even though she's with the angels now, I am finding these cases harder and harder to take.

I'm in Dallas, but yeah this story is odd. Isnt it possible they reported their daughter missing after they saw the body on the news. I know i'm cynical, but too many parents murdering their kids. I hope I'm wrong.

True and the neighbor reported she played with her (neighbor's) grandchildren.
