IMO even if they could produce an actual diagnosis, it won't help when the jurors apply the law.

Autism is not an exempted class in TX iiuc.

Will there be closing arguments? If so then I sure hope the prosecution will be crystal clear on what can legally be considered vs the sad attempt to paint this piece of human garbage as a victim of his childhood.

FGS there are many people who had it much worse than TH and yet remain violence free.

I got very upset earlier with the defense trying to steer the blame of murdering Athena on an unverified Autism diagnosis

After overcoming that emotional reaction, I'm now of the opinion that no matter if he has or hasn't. Autism does not make one more prone to murder

Defense can come up with every excuse in the book , each member of that court room seen evidence of his premeditation and his intent on procurement of a little girl . He was prowling like a predator for prey . He waited for conditions to be in his favour , a child alone .

He was able to maintain his demeanour while passing searchers looking for Athena and until he was caught he carried on with his delivery job . This proves he was fully functioning and not in the throws of a meltdown .

He knew well to hide her body and was in his senses locating a place in which to do that , he left her in water to try get rid of Dna and he knew to clean his van after his evil deed and went home with no one the wiser for what he had done

These so called experts have no clue that Autism goes beyond traits and meltdowns
It often involves perseveration which is the inability to move from one task to another and the person will not be able to think laterally and ruminate for days

Tanner showed he was well able to move laterally from one task to another with ease and without ruminating over his next move

He and his defence make me sick and all these people that are speculating that autism caused him to murder should go touch grass to put it politely
