I’ve been thinking about this too! I do think she believes what she is saying and I do agree with a lot of what she testified to yesterday and found it very interesting. My problem is her accepting the cocaine explanation too easily and downplaying the sexual aspect. I said yesterday that her acceptance of those as facts tainted the rest of her evaluation so I was pleased that the prosecutor called it out today. She also came off too defensive on cross for someone “impartial.”

listening to the reporters (WFAA) running down the defense witnesses of the day and how they have been wondering why half of them were on the stand when they seem to be more helpful to the state than to the defense. They pretty much agree with us.

They think Ryan lost quite abit of ground today. The testosterone doctor - facts of case don't show him to be non agressive due to low T.

They think the defense lost a lot of ground today.

The reporter who heard the audio says Tanner is pure evil and that is undeniable. Jury won't forget it. Doesn't know how these experts can try to say he has this or that issue, to hear that tape is to know he is evil, straight evil.

I tend to agree with all these reporters. His brother apparently will not testify after all. I personally think the defense discovered some of what has been bandied about on social media about how TH, as a child and young teen, treated that little brother. (hint, it doesn't make Tanner look like a victim)

ETA and now the reporters have just brought up those rumors. I wonder if the state has reached out to a certain cousin of his who has been super vocal on social media.

His incarcerated brother would be doing himself no favors by testifying in TH's defense. We've learned today that inmates have access to the news, and if they found out that he spoke up for TH, his brother might be in for a very bad time. The cousin had a lot to say, none of it good.
At this point, between the audio, the reported juror reactions since then, and the State being amazing on cross, I'm thinking 90% chance of DP. I'll probably up it to 100% once we hear closing arguments. My 90% is based on too many juries who have disappointed me. It's a really, REALLY hard job to sentence someone to death, I get that. But this guy? He's the reason we have that option.
