This is the guy the Anthony family has intentionally chosen to speak for them.
That tells me all I need to know about their perspective and their agenda.

Let's hope it's true there is plenty of video footage of what happened. Should this go to trial, it will help the jury immensely (obviously, I know).

Let's just look at this from the POV of KA's parents.

It doesn’t look good at all for Karmelo or his parents right now.

The problem is - there’s FAR FAR too many false narratives in cases like this. Too many people have been mislead in the past with these type of cases.

At one point the camera was zoomed in on Jeff Metcalf and he was texting - which is perfectly well within his rights to do so. There's literally no way this fake minister had any idea who the father of the dead boy was messaging, so of course he's just making assumptions to further the whole victim narrative he's building.

Thanks for spelling out 'NGAN' -- an appropriate title given the prior generation's Jackson's and Sharpton are aging out (and also suffering from mobility issues).

However, I don't understand NGAN making KA their poster boy when KA's message is very much an example of what NOT to do: Do not carry a concealed weapon to school and stab a fellow HS competitor in the heart when asked to follow the local rules to go to your own school's tent to wait out the rain delay.

Sadly, I'm afraid this is more about using the face of a standout athlete.

I waiver on this point. But what I see/hear conflict with what I want to believe. Are KA’s parents allowing other parties with an agenda to influence them? Are they desperate to obtain help for him and not thinking clearly, being swept along in the tide? I’m willing to give the benefit of doubt- if it truly does exist.

I find reading these news articles interesting, because more "details" are included as the time moves forward.

In the above article, KA was in the opposing teams tent, as he was "waiting out the rain delay" at the tent. It seems like the time of the weather, and amount of rain is going to be important.

From the earlier attached police report, Officer Fischer went to the stadium at 1005. When he got there, the crime scene was already taped off. He states in his report that the rain became heavier and he went into the school with Austin's brother to ask him what happened. In the police report, Karmelo Anthony went under the tent of Memorial HS. Austin told him since he did not attend this school, he had to leave.

Austin and Karmelo were arguing, and Austin pushed Karmelo, then, Karmelo knelt down to get his bag, stood up and stabbed Austin. Karmelo had taken a knife out of his bag. Then, Karmelo left the scene after stabbing Austin.

The police report is interesting, and written from several of the officers on scene, each officer was doing something different, so there are a lot of different perspectives on the incident.

The day after the fatal stabbing, the father of Austin Metcalf pleaded on national television for his family's tragedy not to be turned into a race or political issue. Jeff Metcalf said on Fox News on April 3rd, "I want to clarify something right off the start because I've already heard some rumors and gossip. This was not a race thing. This was not a political thing."

Adding to the grifters and criminals hitching their wagons to this, we have now have one of the Jan 6th crowd telling Austin's father that he was "creating more Austin Metcalfs with your weakness" in response to being asked to take Austin's face off his website.

I don't want to call Jeff Metcalf a good example of how to be graceful while suffering, even though he has been, simply due to how unfathomably unfair it is to him to have to grieve and deal with the ghouls attempting to destroy at the same time. He shouldn't have to be the bigger person right now - He should have the breathing space to break down, but he simply doesn't have it right now.

Quoting him from Austin's memorial service:

Jeff Metcalf, Austin’s father, spoke of his son’s integrity and the broader lesson of his life. “Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking. Austin was the man he was, not to show people,” he said. “What people will remember is how you made them feel. When you leave footprints on someone’s heart, they are permanent.”

He offered closing remarks that looked ahead in faith to the day he will be reunited with his son in eternity. “It’s not goodbye. It’s just, see you later.” He urged the community to replace division with compassion and honor Austin’s unifying spirit, saying, “Replace hate, anger, revenge, racism with love, compassion, empathy.”
