I agree Amber Guyger screwed it up in a huge and horrible way but I dont think the Dallas PD is dragging its feet. i think they have done the right thing by turning this case over to the Texas Rangers. it is the right path to take. I hope that charges are brought against her: she took a life in an inexplicable manner. she basically just blew him away- it will be interesting to determine if she had alcohol or drugs in her system.

D.A. did not explain why she is not in handcuffs. They demanded that it happen immediately.

They have a new witness, interesting.

The new evidence the D.A. did not even have. So the lawyers took that witness to the D.A. and SHE spoke to their investigators and they believe it will change the course of the investigation and lead to this office being charged. Because they respect the integrity of the investigation they are not going to release that evidence today.

Senator West: The governor wants to be sure this investigation is conducted fairly. This is not a police officer that was on duty. This is a police officer that had assumed civilian status. Justice demands that she should be arrests and processed just like any other citizen. Let a grand jury decide what type of homicide it is. Asking that she be arrested immediately.
