From press conference: there is a new witness, referred to as she. She has met with DA. Family's attorneys think new evidence from witness will change course of investigation. Witness name and information not being shared at this time.

Rest of press conference mainly a call for action to treat police officer as any other citizen.

New information - Specifically contradicts the narrative that she stumbled into the wrong apartment.

'No one should go to their grave not knowing why they were shot IN their own apartment'
Also said 'blew a hole in his chest'

I wonder if this information is something that we've already heard about or if it's someone who was afraid to say anything?

Thanks to the people relaying the PC.

Senator/Attorney West says an accident shouldn't be considered at this point. That's for grand jury or trial.

Reporter asking about the report that a judge refused to sign a manslaughter warrant, saying it should be murder. Attorney says to his knowledge that is untrue.

Left D.A. meeting with the demand that the officer be arrested immediately.

I bet that she did know him.
If she lives directly below him could it be a noise dispute? I know his next door neighbour said he was quiet, but noi going through her ceiling possibly wouldn't bother his neighbour.

The Senator says he is not trying exert political power. He wants to make sure that there is no double standard.

I'm glad they are doing this. I hope they keep the pressure on for an arrest.

Important to note that everyone deserves due process of the law. An arrest is not a conviction. Certainly Botham deserves due process of the law. Like anyone else's loved one who was in their own apartment minding their own business, not doing anything wrong. Yet a police officer comes in and shoots them in the chest.

It is usually the people downstairs who get noise from moving about upstairs.

Ohhhh. I wonder what they've dug up.

The footage after the shooting of her walking the hallway on her phone is bothering me. I'm in the UK so I'm not up to speed on procedure after an officer shoots someone, but with her training, shouldn't she have stayed with him? Checked his pulse, tried to stop any bleeding? It's not like she was fleeing in fear, in fact if you were in genuine fear wouldn't you and your weapon stay put to make sure there was no further threat while you phoned 911?

He said there is no evidence that they knew each other previously.

I agree with what they're all saying. There's probable cause that a crime has been committed and there should be an arrest immediately.

How can anyone argue with that.

This is a matter of justice. I hope history doesn’t repeat itself cause we keep on getting it wrong lately.

Yes. Though, that footage is about the time he was transported so there were other officers there as well. What's been reported is that no first aid was given until others arrived. So she doesn't appear to have given any first aid herself.
