Story one is attributed to anonymous source from Dallas PD. So you can't say her story changed based on that.

That was in response to ”I am not sure what exactly is the benefit of him being inside the apartment versus him being at the door“.

We don‘t have proof she changed her story. We also don‘t have proof the anonymous PD source‘s account is unreliable. All I‘m saying is his first account of the events makes more sense than her testimony. I just don‘t buy it.

If he opened the door he would have been shot right at the door at close range. If he was inside the apartment while she was in a doorway, he was shot from a distance, inside the apartment. Forensics should differentiate the one story versus the other. If he was shot outside all the blood should be at the doorway. If he was shot inside, blood should be inside.

No, not if she states that he didn‘t follow her orders and approached her, walking towards the door.

Affidavit doesn't actually say he walked towards her. Regardless, per affidavit he was supposed to have been shot inside the apartment, not outside.

I reached out to the reporter asking him to clarify if he thinks his report was wrong about Mr Jean allowing him in, or if it was the new report that was wrong and he replied.

“To be honest, I unhappily am starting to believe the latest reporting. Which would mean I was wrong. Which means my source who’s NEVER been wrong in 23-years, IS WRONG. I am not certain because those in charge... DA, DPD... Texas Rangers aren’t talking on the record about events”

The arrest warrant says "slightly ajar."

I want to know how you can fumble with a key when an door is slightly ajar. It would seem the door would move away from you or if you are holding the knob with one hand and the key with another you would notice the door moving. I don’t buy this story.

Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson said her office plans to present a "thorough" case to a grand jury in the coming days. A murder charge against Officer Amber Guyger has not been taken off the table, she noted.

"I have full confidence in my investigators, my staff, that we will get to the bottom of everything and we will present not only the evidence that we already have, but we will have ... even more evidence that we will be presenting to the grand jury," she said.

It does say ”Guyger drew her handgun, gave verbal commands that were ignored and fired her weapon twice, striking 26-year-old Botham Jean once in the torso.“.

”Ignoring verbal commands“ can mean anything from not putting his hands up to walking towards the door.

Nothing makes sense. MOO : irrational and reactionary behavior. I personally chalk it up to the “shoot first, ask questions later” mentality.

From all reports, the victim was golden. Just an amazing, well loved and respected young man. She on the other hand, has a confirmed incident of shooting a suspect when the person grabbed her taser. (against protocol).

If my door was locked and I couldn’t open it, would I really knock and yell let me in??? No, I would call 911. Who else here?

On the other hand, does she have a SO that she thought was keeping her out of the apartment? Hmmm.
