I think her actions with her first, as well as the most recent and tragic event support your statement.

Yes, and dark circles under the eyes can be related to allergies as well....amongst other causes. I don't think we should try to diagnose.

I would consider a jury’s belief that she is covered by Texas’ castle law a worse crime than the murder itself. It would prove some sort of manipulation of the jury by authorities. This is just beyond stupid!!!

No rational human being would support that. The people of Texas are just and honorable. They will send this unstable woman to prison.

If she gave CPR she would have had blood on her. That is why I asked earlier anther uniform. But now that I am looking at the rug again where is the blood? She would have had blood on the soles of her shoes and clothing. Also I posted an article about a witness stating the police officers told residents to stear clear of the blood pool.

To say the least and IMO, we are all angered, heart-broken, etc... for this needless death. I cannot imagine the anguish his wonderful family must be experiencing, but I marvel at their spirit because of the hope they have in Botham’s life with God. What an extraordinary young man he was because of the indelible impact he has had on so many lives in the short time he was alive.
However this case plays out, AG needs to understand her complete lack of professionalism and self-control has left a void that will never be filled; there won’t EVER be another “Botham.”

Snip: It took almost three days before Guyger, 30, was arrested on a warrant for manslaughter after the fatal shooting of Botham Shem Jean, 26, and booked in a jail in neighboring Kaufman County. She was later released on a $300,000 bond, reported NBC Dallas-Fort Worth.

That was totally their call, that was totally their responsibility, that was totally their lead," Johnson said at a news conference about how investigators first handled the case. "I cannot dictate to the Texas Rangers the process, the investigation, what they do and what they don't do."

On Monday night, NBC affiliate KXAS obtained a warrant for a search on Jean's home that was executed Saturday. The warrant sought "evidence of a criminal offense" and listed items including "fired projectiles," cartridge casings, and "trace evidence such as blood." It also listed "any contraband, such as narcotics, and other items that may have been used in criminal offenses ... ."

Authorities also sought a laptop and iPhone 7 Plus from Jean's apartment, according to the warrant. End Snip.

Let’s put all the how and why aside for a second. I still can’t wrap my head around why it seems like most police departments seem to circle the wagons around an office that shoots an innocent person. It just continues to erode the public trust in them regardless of the situation. I think the police should never be allowed to investigate themselves.

To me, if the police department immediately stand with the officer in an off duty shooting it becomes an “officer involved shooting”. If the officer is off duty, the officer should be treated like any other suspect and by that I mean immediately questioned and if they refuse to cooperate then handle it like a non-officer shooting. They should not be able to have it both ways.

Can anyone honestly say that if this situation involved anyone else but a police officer it would be handled this lightly?

If Amber shot the victim as he opened the door, I would guess he fell backward or back and to the side, so probably no blood outside the door. For all we know, the door may haven’t been opened all the way. This may be where the term “ajar” came from.

If Amber shot the victim as he opened the door, I would guess he fell backward or back and to the side, so probably no blood outside the door. For all we know, the door may haven’t been opened all the way. This may be where the term “ajar” came from.

I cannot find it now my quick break is almost over, I posted an article with a tenant stating that he and others had to be escorted to their apartment and to stear clear of the blood. I have to wait until tonight when I get home from work to find it. So there was blood in the hallway according to a tenant that was interviewed by the media.
