A highly unlikely scenario. From what we know:

• Officer Guyger was the only neighbor who complained to management. No other neighbors complained of any activity or noise at Mr. Jean's apartment.
• If Officer Guyger suspected any criminal activity by Mr. Jean, she should have gone to her department and followed proper procedure for an investigation. Storming into his apartment and killing him is not the way it's done.
• There's no legal evidence to show the victim was dealing drugs.

The fact that the officer's story and that of LE investigating keeps changing hour by hour, the suspicion is cast on them. If the situation were reversed and Mr Jean had killed the officer, we would be casting a great deal of suspicion on him.

We can go back and forward with these rhetorical questions. Theres only 1 side here and its justice. And with AG at home on a comfy couch with her all her family giving the OK hand signal to each other, justice is not being served.

Someone invaded into Botham's apartment and shot him and that fact is trying to be blurred with all this sudden story changing and victim blaming.

IANAL, but the information is contained in an affadavit. If they want to secure a search warrant, they have to show probable cause, right? It has to be approved by a judge, right? I'm curious as to why they put that information in the affadavit and not in a search warrant. I could be off base, but it seems unusual.

ETA: Nevermind. The affadavit is part of the search warrant. So far, we haven't seen what they've collected or even if the SW was approved by a judge.

Yeah. This is absurd. I don't think they will get away with planting this stuff though. Right? Surely he has friends and family who will raise hell. And there are ways to prove he hasn't purchased certain things, I would think.

The question was regarding the noise complaint. Do you have a link that states for a fact she was the only one who lodged a complaint about noise (if she indeed did complain as even the family attorneys aren't coming out and naming her as the complaintant)

I just want to state that I 100% believe that Mr Botham is the one and only victim in this case. I don't understand what I posted that would cause anyone to think anything other then that.

It does in the court of Public Opinion. If he's a bad egg ppl care less. Probably follow the case less. Disgusting

I don’t think it would really matter what was in his apartment, and I doubt there was anything illegal. But I think it’s just a way of casting aspersions on an innocent victim who no longer can speak for himself. There seems to be an agenda here to smear Mr. Jean’s rep after the fact and I am just sick reading how it can possibly be so.

I don’t disagree.
However, a new day has dawned, and the composition and power base of the citenzenry has changed. This type of murderous activity will no longer transpire with impunity.
The People will no longer permit this.
