TX - Caesar & Adriana Coronado, 14, murdered, Katy, 12 March 2016

If this wasn't a personal attack, then everything may have been torched in order to hide and cover up evidence. Her father, the truck....everything was burned in order to make it tougher for the investigators. The downside of that scenario is that you're dealing with a seasoned and educated criminal. A criminal that apparently carries around jugs of gasoline or multiple containers of lighter fluid.

Burning the truck tells me that the two of them transferred into another vehicle........... at least the shooter anyway. There's no telling where this girl may be or what was done to her.

Agree and it supports a planned theory IMO

"Another friend ... says Adriana lived with both her mom and dad but that her mother is currently in Mexico for surgery."

"'They were just like a big happy family. Her dad was really sweet to her,' said (the friend)."

I wonder how they were able to identify the father so quickly.

If this Family is from Mexico it makes sense to me to have surgery in Mexico if no coverage in the U.S. Cheaper.

Me too! A lot of Americans used to go over to see dentists because the prices were so much cheaper there, that was until the violence escalated in the border towns. My friend, who was born and raised here, didn't speak a word of Spanish, went over to have bariatric surgery. She had family there to help her.

I hope Mom's surgery was nothing serious and she can get back to Texas ASAP. I cant imagine......She may be able to shed some light on this even if she doesn't think so at this point. Anything she may think of could be a clue. It has been stated ^ most ties are in Houston and LE feels that may be a city where headed. Could it be a Family member or friend???????

The only bright spot in this ordeal, it looks as if the State of Texas has the best and brightest on top of it. It's just a race against time at this point.

I'll be hanging out here most of the day praying for some good news. In bed with a chest cold Grrrrrr not complaining just saying.....this poor Family how devastating! Adriana's friends appear to be a lovely, caring group. Must be devastating for them as well.

Great point, Bravo. Who is the witness ? So something scared dad and daughter out of the home unexpectedly that evening OR someone came to the house and maybe forced them to leave in the car with them .

Texas teen believed to be in 'immediate danger' after police discover father's burned body

fox news.jpg

The FBI has joined the investigation into the disappearance of 13-year-old Adriana Coronado of Katy, who was last seen Saturday. An Amber Alert was issued Monday, which said authorities are hunting for an unknown suspect in connection with her abduction.

The body of Caesar Vladimir Coronado, Adriana's father, was discovered Sunday in Walker County, according to The Associated Press. Authorities believe the man was shot and his burned pickup truck was located near Conroe, about 45 miles south of where the body was found.

“Please return my daughter back cause I’m dying with hurt,” Coronado’s mom told KHOU from Mexico.

Adriana, who was a freshman at Mayde Creek High School, was supposed to host a girl’s day at her apartment in Katy on Saturday, but never returned calls.

“We are like something’s wrong because she’s always on her phone,” Eduardo Revuelta, a friend, told KHOU. “Why wouldn’t you answer us?”

The mother also said she spoke to her husband and daughter on the phone Friday night, while the two were together, and she did not get the impression that anything was wrong.
