TX - Caesar & Adriana Coronado, 14, murdered, Katy, 12 March 2016

The POI running in the alley strikes me as just an out of shape guy trying to run but also be ready to slow to a walk if encountered to look less suspicious. Nothing too unique there. That's exactly how I ran after I had my babies.

Phone records should reveal more clues IMO and sure hope other video helps too. I just wish Adriana was found safe by now. As we all do.

Since I'm spanish speaking I'm able to watch spanish news too and the latest Univision interview which was today here in Houston (Yes she's back but staying at a relatives house) she's now saying her husband would have conversations on the phone like arguing with someone and when she would ask what's wrong? He would reply nothing don't get in my business. Why didn't she say that from the start? She first said her husband had no enemies that she could think of... not blaming the mom at all just not a smart move to be saying one thing one day and a different thing the next? Also why don't I see any tears? Idk. I only pray for the safe return of adriana.

Even if they did try to ransom Adriana, I have read enough stories from Mexico to have very bleak expectations. I'm guessing though, if they did bring her to Mexico they could keep her alive for many different reasons. None of which I would wish for her.

I agree. Tracking down his phone records may blow this thing wide open. Of course, we have to assume there are phone records, and that he wasn't using one of those burner phones all the time.

The way he waddles reminds me of a guy that eats too many tacoa, drinks to much beer, and doesn't get enough exercise to offset it. I'll bet he was huffing and puffing like a grizzly bear by the time he made it to the pick up spot.

So, why would the cartel send an out of shape guy to do their business? I'm starting to think this was very personal.

ETA: and I hope they are keeping the mom safe.

I would imagine that the requirements for cartel enforcers would be to follow orders, keep your mouth shut and be successful in taking care of matters. It's not like they have to take a physical or maintain fitness standards. :)

Whoever it is holding the firearm is the one with the biggest advantage, that kinda eliminates the need to be physically fit.

At 1:20, just as he gets to the pavement and turns his head? Looks like it to me too.

If he's lit a fire like that before, maybe he knew to wear eye protection. Just a thought. Who knows. This is so crazy, poor Adriana :(

You guys tread lightly when it comes to Adriana's mother and what she knew and didn't know. She could have been completely in the dark about her husbands outside activities. It's a cultural thing.

Back in the mid 90's, I dated and was married to a girl for about 5 years. Her father was Mexican and her mother was Italian. She easily could have passed for Selma Hayek's twin sister. Both of her parents were legal citizens, but they were deeply ingrained in the latin culture. Around their house, the man went out and made the money, and the woman stayed home and raised the kids and kept the house clean. Their worlds didn't collide. How the father made money, who is friends were, and who his girlfriends were, was none of the mothers business, and he reminded her of that constantly. His world revolved around bravado and machismo, and the wife and kids were ruled with an iron fist and rarely protested.

She had two brothers that were close to my age, and both of them were a carbon copy of their dad. Short tempered bullies, both of them were constantly on the take to make an easy buck and they treated their girlfriends like hell. My wife's dad (at the time) had a couple of kids outside of his inner family with other women. I never heard his wife mention it a single time, although she clearly knew.

I actually think her family had a lot to do with our subsequent breakup and divorce, because I really couldn't stand to be around them for long. Her brothers didn't like me because I was a white guy in the midst of a mexican culture, and me and the two of them had a couple of fist fights here and there due to it, I kid you not. My wife liked me because I didn't treat her like dirt in the same way that her Dad and brothers treated women. Regardless of her loyalty, I finally grew tired of being in the middle of the whole mess and opted to move on down the road. There were other things involved as well, but that also factored into it. When I was growing up, my parents didn't treat each other like that, and I really didn't like watching it. That may have also been where a lot of the friction played in when I was interacting with them.

All that said, I have no doubt that Adriana's mother could have been completely in the dark about her husbands outside activities. I've witnessed how that kind of thing works firsthand. I suspect there may be some users of latin descent that come out of the woodwork and start slamming me for my comments here, but keep in mind, this was my experience and my observation during that time of my life. It doesn't necessarily apply to everyone and every family.

I agree with you so much I tried to thank it twice. And in regards to whether or not she wants to return home....she might have been told she should stay away or she might be scared for her life. These are obviously VERY dangerous people. I have two young kids and I would go through fire and brimstone for them, but I can't say for sure if I would return home under these circumstances. As far as she knows, her daughter is still alive. She needs her mother. God these poor people. My heart breaks for her.

I agree with u. If it was dad they were after and wanted to send him a message they would use the daugbter to get to him but he is deceased a d she would be of no use any longer.
Did they do something to her before killing bim?

Or is there something else going on here?
Imo its not cartel.

So you know when your foot hurts or you haven't ties your shoes and are flopping /running/walking, or you are wearing the wrong size of shoes? That is how this guy runs/walks. Almost like he's trying to keep his shoes on.
I'm hoping there release more info/video.

I get the impression he is youngish, but could have a knee injury< per his gait>:moo:

Since it's too early to start drinking beer, and I have a little spare time, I decided to do a few screen shots and expand from the excellent Streetview post that Skibaboo did earlier this morning. These are screen shots showing where the truck was parked and the path the suspect took.

If you have any questions.....feel free to ask anybody but me..........

The man in the video is a “person of interest” in the missing teen’s case, according to the Associated Press, which noted that even though viewers can’t make out the man’s face, McRae, the sheriff, is hopeful he can be identified another way.

“This is going to be crucial in solving this case,” the sheriff said.

I agree with another post that his gait is just related to his pants falling down. Could be remarkable if he's one of those dudes with NO butt and his pants always hang low below his waist. I remember people like this. If this happened near me, my mind would def jump to the men I know in town with saggy drawers
