As Dallas side notes....

The over all area where she is missing from (8107 Mandeville Lane) of off Hwy 75 and relatively near Royal Lane can probably be described as "mixed".

The immediate area has seen steady gentrification and features some upper end properties in both apartments and hotels. But.... the gentrification seems to have slowed down, and perhaps stalled.

Meanwhile, Vickery Meadow to the south is down right dangerous. Day time visits to pre- determined and known destinations are "doable"- well, if one really wants to. I would not, however, go into the area at night for any reason.

Surrounding Vickery Meadow to the south (all the way to Loop 12), to the east to hwy 75, and a little to the north before the gentrification kicks in, are large areas that can be be considered "iffy" at best. They could also well dip down into the "dangerous" category in certain blocks (especially to the south of Vickery Meadow).

In short, the area where she was last seen, sadly, is readily accessible for a variety of "Bad News" types coming from Vickery Meadow and surrounding areas.
