Did I read that article correctly? Did Tuck actually say that the 12 year old girl was responsible for committing the sodomy?!

Please, somebody tell me that I am misunderstanding this quote. He really is a chivalrous guy.

She didn't do it, but he is blaming her saying she was raped on why he did it.

It is not bashing the parent when a parent knows that their child is aligned with skinheads and permits or tolerates that to go on in their home. It is one thing to have a child who does that, and you actively work against it. It's another to sit back and passively permit that to go on in your home, giving it approval.

Allowing your child to display a Nazi flag until the homeowner's association asks you to take it down is not doing your best.

This is another quote that really bugs me:

But he says he's given up his old life as a neo-Nazi. Now he says he doesn't hate anyone.

"I just respect who respects me," said Tuck. "The only time I'm against someone is when they screw me over or my family."

It appears he's done little to generate respect from anyone.
Hi Ijwf22,
Of course he is going to claim that he has changed his ways.He is saying that he has given up his life as a neo-nazi.He is going to be confined with people of all races. So he has to cover his butt with that statement. Also he was just looking for a reason to inflict pain and suffering on a human being.A Hispanic.Apparently the girl was Hispanic also.Does anyone really think that he gave a damn about a Hispanic girl???
Ifhe is allowed in general population (he might very well be confined to a protective custody unit)he will be forced to "PC" by the other inmates. Also the skinheads will not take kindly to his denouncing of the neo-nazi life.

We're going to keep our discussion about the men who committed the crime.

Yes ma'am.

The stupid 'respect' thing that is so common in the criminal groups (gangs, prisoners, etc.) - I just wonder how much a part that plays in developing criminal behavior, as well as being the way they try to excuse their behavior. 'Respect' is the excuse for everything - you can kill someone for not showing you respect, you steal to get 'bling' to get respect, and you expect to get respect from everyone even though you don't give it and never have done anything to earn it.

An attack of this magnitude and in the main area it was committed would be extremely painful. Did none of the neighbors hear him scream? No one called the cops?

  • #129
I think they incapicated the victim enough so he couldn't call out or scream for help. According to the news reports, he was kicked in the head more than once.

My guess is, he was nearly unconscious from the head injury and unable to call out or fight back at the time of the other injuries.

I wonder why the mother of the 12yrd old (and owner of the home) hasn't spoken out to say ANYTHING. Have I just missed it?

According to Channel 2 KPRC television news, she is being named in a civil lawsuit by the victim's parents. (along with the accused.)

"One of the two teens charged in the brutal beating of a 17-year-old Hispanic youth in Spring last month was assaulted by two fellow Harris County inmates days after he was jailed, a Sheriff's Office spokesman said Wednesday..."

Quote from link about the assault on the crybaby;

Cathieq's newslink quote said:
Tuck was attacked shortly after a detention officer told him he was being moved into a segregated jail block, Martin said.
"Two inmates struck him," Martin said.

"It doesn't seem he was hit repeatedly or that it was a prolonged attack."
I knew that he would end up in the seg unit.So he was in his way there and was assaulted. (how come there are no crybaby emoticon icons to insert?)
So I am sure that it won't be long before he blames that incident on the Officers leading him to the unit saying that he was not protected. Most likely the Officers will be suspended (fired if they are temps).Prisoners rights will jump in and a lawsuit will entail. He will probably say that he should have been placed in seg from the moment that he walked through the doors of the facility.
That is usually what happens.
Sad but true.....
Criminals have more rights than the victims.

Maybe Tuck will meet Jeff Dahmer's fate. I wouldn't be sad.

From the article posted above:

"FBI officials have said Tuck and Turner cannot be charged under the federal hate crime statute because the attack occurred on private property."

I didn't know that. I thought that I had read where skinheads had burnt a cross on someone's lawn and when they were caught they were charged with a hate crime. This has been so long ago, I know I won't find a link. How can it not be considered a hate crime even if on private property?

Hi Tennessee,:)
There is something wrong with that.
A hate crime on a persons property is all the more reason to call it a hate crime. What is wrong with those people!

tennessee,

I read an article last night (can't find the link now) that says they are thinking of tightening up the hate crime laws in that state. I am glad to hear it because it shouldn't matter where it happens, just that it happens.

Nothing new about the case but here's some interesting reading about one of the perps:
http://lonestartimes.com/2006/05/09/he-was-always-such-a-nice-quiet-boy/

"...Tuck once killed his stepsister’s dog, breaking at least several of its limbs, Rogers said. Tuck deposited the carcass on a neighbor’s lawn, said Rogers, who called Tuck "a psychopath." Worried that Tuck may come after him if he is released on bail, Rogers sometimes answers his door with a handgun..."
