Yes it is interesting- I don't think it is the husband since law enforcement did a deep dive into his life and could find nothing. They also gave him a polygraph which he passed . The police seemed to have ruled out everybody that were persons of interest.
I repeat: the police need to follow up doggedly on the only clue they have: that truck--it would seem to me technology could somehow help find more information about that truck: maybe there is something unusual about it, a sticker somewhere, something about it that would make it different and stand out-- I know they were not able to get the license plate info, but do they not have technology that could magnify it to a point where they could at least read a few numbers or letters on the plate. I don't know if that can be done or not but I would think it could.

This murder is one of the worst I have ever heard of: A totally innocent victim, where the perpetrator actually walks up her in a costume and shoots her four times- the last shot when she was on the ground, to her head. They must find this individual. Her husband and her family need some closure.
Is there a link to LE saying that SB was given and passed a polygraph?

At the start I thought they meant .38 shell... or medium caliber and were not sure of the bullet type.

Obviously a revolver

The more and more I rewind the details of this shocking murder, the more I come back to mistaken identity being the reason. There was no doubt that there was a sense of urgency to her murder on the part of the assassins(s) that was both personal and brutal. This was no previous road rage incident or jilted cosplay member. That being said, if LB had indeed crossed someone dangerous in a type of situation that would had escalated to such an awful action there is no doubt that her husband or friends around her would have known something. Something.

Almost 30 years ago in Tulsa there were two brothers who were both brutally murdered in their home while their parents were out Christmas shopping. The killer(s) lit candles and turned on the gas stove to hide evidence when they left but the parents arrived home just in time. For years no one had a clue who would want to murder these two brothers: no known enemies, honest solid family and the police and media turned every stone, and still was a completely senseless murder. But was intentional.

Then the break: Tulsa Police: Unsolved Double Murder A Case Of Mistaken Identity

Hard to mistake someone's identity at their own house. With their car there too.

Same thing occurred in the murder I linked to

What would be the kill order? Kill a young lady in that neighborhood?

Did you read the article? The killer transposed the two addresses and went to the wrong house.

Oops,, I meant EB (Elizabeth B)

What her mother's reaction was to SB's reaction upon hearing of EB murder. Does she believe him?
I'm wanting to read her response.

T.Y.
Here is a short summary of response when viewing neighbor's CCTV of murder according to "On the Case with Paula Zahn" A Fairy Tale Ruined:

Liz’s mom: Seeing her step back is the worst part because I knew she was afraid and that destroyed me to see her afraid and then to hear the gunshots and her screaming… it’s just really hard.

SB: it was horrible. It was tragic. It was awful.

In addition, in answer to your question: "Does she believes him?" I have no clue.

Thank you so much!
I've been hopping around here checking the diff threads for some insight in to her feelings and other stuff about this case.

I've just started getting really interested after I watched the PZ episode.

All I'm gonna say is, with the apparent lies (IMO) about the life insurance policy, I've decided who I feel spearheaded the killing. JMO and I am sure you can all catch my drift.
I disregard any polygraph testing because IMO it is junk science.
Your opinion seems to make the most sense to me....I agree.

I’m very curious what LE finds w/ “POI” down in Miami.

I misread your 1st question. I’ve never seen anything on Liz’s mom’s reaction to SB‘s reaction upon hearing about Liz‘s murder.

I am not at all trying to exonerate SB, but I am honestly surprised at how many people (including Tomball law enforcement) interpret SB’s incorrect estimate of the value of EB’s life insurance policy (which could have been given in response to a question he was asked while still in shock over the murder) as deliberately deceptive.

Maybe you all are just way more responsible people than I am, because while I know I am the beneficiary on my partner’s life insurance, could I tell you with 100% confidence the precise value of that policy? Nope, it is not a number that I’ve committed to memory, mostly because a) money/finances aren’t my forte, and b) I really don’t want to think of the day when I might receive it. However, could I tell you where the relevant paperwork pertaining to that matter is kept? Absolutely.

All this to say, I just don’t see SB’s poor guesstimate as suspicious—I would be inclined to think perhaps the error was because he was either not thinking clearly when asked OR because he was less involved in the household’s finances than EB (who was the high earner in the marriage, I believe).

But it’s not like it was a $25k policy. It was either $500k or $1m, they said both in the show. Most people know at least roughly the policy amount. Is the policy enough to cover a funeral? To pay off the mortgage?

The recommendation is to have 10 times your income in life insurance if you have a spouse or children who depend on your income.

It would be interesting to know exactly what SB told detectives the policy was worth.

I also have no idea how much life insurance my wife carries...

Agree with both you and @realanastasia. I have no clue how much life insurance my husband has because it's through his work, like I believe Liz's was. Similarly I don't think my husband knows how much I have since it's through work. I believe my husband's is either 1 or 2x his annual salary but I have never seen any documentation about it.

Same here. I wasn't even sure how much I had through my work (500k) and my spouse certainly has no idea.

A policy through work is different than purposely buying a policy through an agent. It is a click on a mouse at enrollment time and the cost may be minimal depending on the employer benefits.
