There are witnesses to seeing the truck, the neighbors. I can understand getting dark grey confused with black but not arctic blue.
I thought so, too, until I had a look at some images of this model in this colour: image 1, image 2.
I do think it is least likely of the three options, though. Just that my initial idea was that arctic blue would look something like that instead.

Vehicles registered in the state of TX, will have a sticker (drivers' side) in the corner of their window.

-- If the truck was registered in the state of TX, did the sticker get removed prior to the homicide?
-- I am undecided (via videos) if there is actually a sticker in the corner of the truck's front window.
-- LE stated the truck is a 2013 to 2018 black Nissan Frontier Pro-4X
-- Where is the truck? -- Who did/does the truck belong to?
-- Was the truck destroyed after the homicide?

...

"Texans are really going to appreciate only having one sticker in the corner of their window. And only having to worry about one expiration date," Shaivitz said.

As it stands right now, many Texas motorists are driving around displaying two separate expiration dates for their current registration and inspection stickers.

"With the new program, you just have to think about that one date on that one sticker," he said.

TX - TX - Terri 'Missy' Bevers, 45, killed in church/suspect in SWAT gear, Midlothian, 18 Apr 2016 #49

I realize this has been hashed out a few times, but I just can’t shake the fact that these two blatant murders happened so close in proximity to each other. And so many other similarities. Even if not related, how odd!? MOO IMO

Yep, I think about the similarities between this case and the Missy Bevers case frequently.

My gut tells me the police are closer to solving the Barraza case than the Bevers case.

maybe the garage sale was not relevant- maybe the person was going to shoot whenever LB came out of the house? on any other day, she would have had to leave for work?

LB had already left the home before, when she went for a coffee-to-go. Seemingly the place at her garage sale was the chosen location to ambush her. Probably a successful attack as well as a successful escape would have been more easy at this address.

Starbucks has surveillance cameras that most likely work that is why. It would be a gamble not knowing what businesses would be open with better security cameras. Eyewitnesses at Starbucks, are pretty busy in the morning.

I think they know who did it in Terri's case but just cannot prove it, yet. IMHO.

LE has the info of the person who was pulled over.
Hi @POSleuth! Are you the person who posted the dashcam footage? I couldn't help but notice your name, profile picture, and join date are the same/similar as whoever posted that footage.

I tend to agree that perhaps the garage sale was not relevant. I would feel different if it had been advertised on social media (compare with Missy Bevers' announcement on SM that they'd be working out rain or shine). I think that this was planned far enough in advance that the garage sale didn't matter and they'd planned to attack her in the driveway. True, she made a Starbucks run earlier in the morning, but I think the shooter planned to commit the crime after Sergio left, and that the shooter assumed that Liz would leave for work a little later than Sergio.

For me it comes down to how a person without special skills would need to commit a premeditated murder of someone they don't live with. You would have to shoot them at point-blank range. And you would have to gain access to the victim by breaking into their house, ringing the doorbell, ambushing them on the driveway or front steps as they left or arrived home, or surprising them in a public place.

Question: do we know whether Liz and Sergio customarily parked their cars in the driveway or inside the garage? If they parked the cars in the garage that would make a plan for a driveway ambush more difficult, as you'd likely have to shoot through the auto glass.

I hope they did look at Starbucks cameras. Was it a regular Starbucks outlet?

What you just noticed is very important to me. The murderer either knew Liz very well, or had a way of getting information.

How can one tell if she is going to pick up coffee in 2 minutes and return back, or, on the contrary, stay in Starbucks, read the news, check her phone and return to her house when it is light around? For people who like coffee, Starbucks might be a ritual. There’s one reason she brings coffee home, if she expects SB to start the morning with her.

I wonder if she did it all fast because SB was waiting for her? Maybe she expected them to start together, but then he got a call from his dad and left?

Liz starting the sales alone in the darkness raises a lot of questions with me.

I'd also like to point out that IMO we do not know where the mystery car was during that Starbucks ride: nowhere to be seen (presumably still wherever they "spent the night"), already waiting for her somewhere else (like en route her normal way), or actually following her during that. I hope the LE does know that.

What is more, I do not know if Liz 1) got Starbucks on normal work morning as well or not 2) if she did, did she do it on that same time as on the day she was killed 3) if she did, did she normally come back home with the drink and left for work afterwards, had her drink inside Starbucks, or started driving to work with her drink.
If any of that has been discussed by her parents or S, I'd welcome to see their interpretations on that.

I agree that if choosing a place to kill someone early in the morning, then a coffee shop of all places would not be the place where I would think there would be no witnesses.
Then again, when choosing a place to park my car before the murder, then a school of all places would not be the place where I would think there would be no cameras... so clearly I cannot think like that killer!

Or parking right in front of her house either! I guess the killer thought having a fast getaway was more important than concealing that getaway.

Someone was smart enough to know that shooting someone near a Starbucks would lead to an immediate arrest.
I am SHOCKED the school doesn't have a working security camera. I wonder if anyone Liz knows works or drops children off there, even a nanny or babysitter even.
Ultimately the thought of shooting someone is already utter insanity but if this person was trying to NOT get caught some forethought went into it, otherwise, if they confronted her publicly and flew into a rage it would have happened even in public. Just MO.
I wish this case would have a break soon.

It is perhaps the most shocking thing about this case- this person made no effort to avoid being caught on multiple cameras, multiple times. It worked out for them, but how incredibly lucky this person was to escape after police arrived minutes later and put out a BOLO minutes after that...

I do find it to be INCREDIBLY LUCKY.
They really did luck out if they committed murder on impulse and it has happened in the past. Strange luck, but I think their luck is about to run out.

Good point. Maybe the day to kill Liz was chosen simply to kill her before the Orlando trip took place, and the garage sale happened to be going on. If no garage sale that morning, would the killer choose to kill her at Starbucks (if she went to Starbucks each morning, idk) or walk right up to Liz's front door or kill her as she is leaving for work that morning?

As I write the above, I really feel (moo) the killer knew about the garage sale, and took that as their opportunity to kill Liz Barraza. A perfect storm, but not a perfect crime.

All is a matter of an opinion...

Do you think the police know everyone who owned one in Texas with that make/model? Do we know for a fact the license plate says Texas?
Perhaps the police have known the vehicle all along and keeping what they know on the down low while put together the case needed for arrest and conviction.

"Oh my God, dude. This is crazy," Sergio Barraza, Liz's husband, said on the video.

It was his heartbreaking reaction within minutes of learning Liz had been shot.

"So they just (expletive) shot her and left?" he asked the officer.

What exactly would SB have expected? That the killer stays there, waiting for the police to come? It's not easy to ask a meaningful question in this situation, it seems.
Maybe, I had done just like him and not a bit better. Idk.

Maybe he was thinking of an accidental shooting? Maybe he was thinking a gun inadvertently discharged and LB was shot on accident not realizing it was intentional
