I believe the officer's story. a case of mistaken apartment identity.
Whatever, dude. How about when those people are innocent? What then? Clearly you are not versed in the history of the Dallas police department and the large number of innocent people who have been killed by them over the years. That historical context is an important issue here.well, I for one want people to die at the hands of LE, if these people are murdering and raping and robbing innocent people. that's why we have LE.
So you'd give her a pass?I believe the officer's story. a case of mistaken apartment identity.
There are 16 photos of Mr. Jean’s apartment available here:

That's a great point. How did she not notice that? Clearly she had no business being an on-duty police officer is she was so out of sorts. I think the defense will try to pin this on the department, and how she was so fatigued from the long shift. I also will be eager to find out how she got into the apartment. She claims the door was ajar but we've seen that the doors are fire doors that slam shut. Her key would have shown red when she inserted it and not opened the door. The affidavit in that article says she rendered first-aid. Really? When? Didn't sound like there were any attempts at first-aid from the phone call.Im sorry but the HUGE RED door mat should have been her first clue she was not at her door!

Dallas native here, born and bred. No such thing as "large number of innocent people..." Very easy to throw out a verbal hand grenade like that, but ALOT harder to back it up with FACTS. And for the record, let's uncouple this garbage that she was acting in an official capacity as LE. If she happened to be a teacher, betcha this case would be buried on page 5 of Dallas Morning News.Whatever, dude. How about when those people are innocent? What then? Great, then you remember the 80's, then! Them were the days, eh Sailor? Your comment makes little sense. No one has said she was "acting in an official capacity".Dallas native here, born and bred. And her toxicology reportIf she had been a citizen, she probably would have been arrested that night, and her home searched. So, that already did not happen.
My bias here, is that I already believe that this entire situation lacks integrity. When you shoot someone, the first person you talk to is your union representative?
I would like to see an entire timeline of AG's last week. Where she was, what she did, how many hours she worked, and how much medication she is taking, how much alcohol she purchased in the last month....
And her toxicology report
BTW Sailor, it's quite easy to back up the egregious behavior of the Dallas Police department with facts - it's in the Congressional Record. It's not every day your police department gets investigated by Congress.Dallas native here, born and bred. No such thing as "large number of innocent people..." Negative, I have no axe to grind. I lived through that mess. Thankfully a lot has changed for the better. I hope no one ever has to put their life on the line for me, but I have every confidence (now) in DPD. I don't know what went so wrong with this one officer, but we've got the trial to sort it out. Glad you ain't playin, whatever that means.sounds like you got some axe to grind. I ain't playin'...
and I hope Dallas' finest never have to put their lives on the line for u

Affidavit: Apartment Of Man Killed By Off-Duty Cop Was Unlocked
Sources said Guyger told investigators she was carrying several bags home from work and that’s why she says she missed that distinctive characteristic from the outside of her own apartment.
But she would have to put the bags down, before taking a key out and trying to open the door? Where were her hands? If she was carrying the bags on her back, then they wouldn't block her vision.Affidavit: Apartment Of Man Killed By Off-Duty Cop Was Unlocked

Yes except for that BRIGHT RED DOORMAT that wasn't hers and she just pushed the door open ? wouldn't that give most people a clue?? (sorry if I sound snippy ) if that part didn't tip her off she was either high or stupid ....everyone is tired! This doesn’t answer all your questions. But it does show the layout:
“The interior floor plan and exterior surroundings of each apartment are "identical" or "extremely similar" to each other, Armstrong wrote. Jean was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injury.”
