This was an error, when the Judge called them in one-by-one she was making sure no one had read the interview in the news report made by the DA over the weekend. The jurors were just now sworn in together. Opening statements have begun.Jurors are being sworn in one-by-one right now, so opening statements should start soon.
Court TV reported just a moment ago that we will hear testimony from the neighbor who allegedly heard Jean answer the door and he and Guyger exchange words. In Oscar Pistorius case ( I know different country ) they threw out the “ear witnesses”.
I do hope the ear witness can come in ...esp if the door data says the door was locked.

So she was texting her partner while she was on the 911 call. So that's why she wasn't giving him any aid---busy texting.
These texts are interesting. Maybe these texts are damning. If she was going to meet up with him later that night - she wasn’t as tired as she may seemed. Yikes! 3 mins to call 911.
3 minutes and 44 seconds.
From the phone call to her partner to the phone call to 911.
The partner is on the witness list, and the state intends to ask about the relationship and content of the messages. So it should get into testimony even if the jury can't physically look at the text messages.Omg.
Does this fact come in even if the content of the texts does not?
Does the fact that she was planning a bootie call come in even if the content of the texts does not?
I got physically sick at this.
This has to come in.
The prosecutor needs to show the jury exactly how long this is.
