I think the time 6:35 - 6:56 is going to turn out to be VERYYYYYY important to this case.

Me too..and if I had to guess..wherever that phone pinged is where they are searching..I need to go back and read because at a glance I *thought* that it said Billie's phone pinged at the same location...I may be totally wrong there..going to check..

I couldnt bring it up. Please understand.... this is her daughter we are talking about. I do not want to be the one to put that image in Billie's mind.

You said you called LE with it. I really hope they looked into it. If there is something to it, they should bring it up to her.

Well it boes say that they both had an intense fascination. And we knew that Billie liked horror films from her myspace.

As for any woman NOT knowing about stuff in her house, I can't speak to. I'm a snoop. I'm a mom. You have to be in this day and age. You have to know what's in your house. If you don't - you're more then likely to get caught with your "pants down".

Point about this stuff here is Billie is listed as having this "fascination" along with SA - not that it was SA's "fascination only and Billie possibly didn't know about it.

I'm wondering if Hailey had found that "box". And that is why we've heard she said she was "scared" of SA. Remember Sa and BD were going to work all day and during Xmas break and days off school - Hailey was left in the house alone.

ITA!! I now understand why Sparky Dean stated with such passion/confidence that Haley would not want to be found if she had run-away; my goodness, I would be absolutely terrified if I came across such items under my parent's bed! And if I was already uncomfortable being around Mom's BF, THAT would put me over the edge--especially at 13 years old! Heck, I'm 46 and that would freak me out! :doorhide:

Good question! I haven't been able to figure out any likely reason for doing that. I'm sure he had one, but what? Did he have something to go finish and just didn't want to face people at work afterward? IDK, because he could have called in late. You would think that he would know that not being at work for any reason would be a HUGE red flag to LE..so he must of had a good reason, but dang if I can figure it out!

I'm going to guess that clocking into work was to establish an alibi figuring his co-workers wouldn't notice him gone. He probably gave that alibi to LE until he was confronted by LE about it. We know that Billi tried to pass that one off on NG.

She has stated she didn't have her phone that day and SA had access to it. Or if something did happen... maybe HD had it in her pocket? I guess I am just not ready to say BD is guilty over one article, especially when there has been so many different stories reported. IMO

It's not just an article, these are words from official documents.

OK, Am I reading this wrong?

Nevertheless, Adkins left his place of employment at 6:10 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 27 and told investigators that he went straight to his mother’s house in Big Spring. However, cell phone records indicate that Adkins’ cell phone was in contact with cell towers in Scurry County from 6:35 a.m. until 6:56 a.m., during the time when he said he was traveling to Big Spring.

Billie Dunn left for work at 6:20 a.m. on Dec. 27, and authorities said her cell phone was also in contact with the same cell tower during the same time period.

eta~I'm reading this as her phone was in the same area as his @ 6:20 in the morning..meaning not towards work?

Hey, did SA work out in the field? Did he have a work truck? That would explain alot.

Everyone please remember what is most important right now - finding Hailey. Please continue to pray for Hailey's safe return, and for God to keep His hand on Hailey and all those who love her.
Has there been any news about TES? I thought I saw before all the "bombshells" that LE have given them the call and they were coming. Is that true? I would think they now have areas of interest to be searched.

y

The other odd thing is he doesn't own a car, anywhere, and her's was broke down for about a week. So how did they get to work in the first place, and how did he leave his work place minutes later? tia

I'm thinking work truck.

I'm thinking work truck.

That is interesting, because at times it has seemed there almost had to be two vehicles involved, or at least someone else giving rides......

The problem is even if BD isn't involved in what happened to her daughter, she seems to be a compulsive liar. Lying when your child is missing is never a good idea. It does happen that innocent people lie. Look at Johathan Foster's mother. I was sure she was involved because of her lying about it in the beginning. It just takes that much longer for LE to help because they have to dig through all these lies. I have seen how easily she seems to lie. Maybe even fooling her friends. Does that mean she is guilty of something to do with her daughter's diappearance? Maybe not but it sure doesn't help find her. It only hurts.

It wasn't CD it was DD...........

I was assuming that since CD knocked for so long, knowing someone was home, that he helped DD get in the window. I can't imagine leaving DD alone, locked out of his house without taking DD with him. But you know what happens when we assume...

Or the truck that's suppose to not work, actually does.KWIM

  • #533
I would like to know what happened next..was he told to stay in his room was he told to leave...?

I know! It just stops there! I kept looking for another page thinking nooo, that can't be the end..I can not imagine what he has gone through..

My prayers have always been for Hailey and her brother. Because I felt she was gone from this earth and DD has to live with the aftermath. The knowledge he has to live with, concerning his mother and her lover, is the things nightmares are made of.

According to his father, Clint Dunn, D arrived about 4 p.m. and pounded on the front door for about five minutes, and no one would let him in the door.
D then let himself into the house through a window, where D said he saw Adkins in a hallway with a “deer in the headlights look.”

CD wasn't there,DD came home knocked on the door, noone answered and he climbed in the window and saw SA in the house.

ITA they way that reads it seems that SA (in a vehicle) went to work and so forth - but his cell pinged off other towers and then BD left for work (in a vehicle) that pinged off the same tower.

Strange wording - maybe there is another vehicle involved. Does SA's mom or grandmom have a car?

  • #538
And I really wonder if there was not another bat phone............

Okay here's what Billie said about her phone that day on NG Jan. 3rd show:

DUNN: There were some people came forward, a neighbor saw her around lunchtime on Tuesday out in my backyard talking on the cell phone.

GRACE: Talking on what cell phone?

DUNN: I mean Monday, I`m sorry.

GRACE: Talking on what cell phone?

DUNN: On my cell phone.
..........

GRACE: Now I thought you were at work. Why was your cell phone at home?

DUNN: Because I left it there for my children

But, the phone was pinging in a different county, I'm so confused. Is this one of Billie's "inconsistencies" or do I have the days mixed up?

NG transcript: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1101/03/ng.01.html

Good catch. My head is reeling from this new release but I guess BD could have thought the phone was at home when really SA had it in the vehicle. Maybe he was reading HD's texts, seeing who she called while she was at home sleeping. He must have gotten back to the house before noon if the neighbor's accounts of her being on the phone outside at that time are correct. This is very hard to process in my wee brain.
