Oh that's right, maybe the Ipod Itouch thing Hailey got last Christmas, the one her mother said was lost and then she said not working.

I can't see HD being in the vehicle with them as BD thought SA was going to work and she did go to work.

I'm not so sure Billie thought SA was going to work........

Yeah, and if both phones were pinging in the same location at the same time then who were they talking to - each other? Or do records show a phone's pings when they're on and not just in use?

Now that you mention that..It made me think about the fact that Billie said they only had one phone between them and she left it at home..Why no mention about the other phones..assuming form this that there were at least 2 others...oy vey, my head hurts...

Phones continue to ping as long as they are on.

GRAPHIC WARNING- PLEASE PASS BY IF YOU ARE FAMILY OR SENSITIVE

OK, not really graphic, but it might be hard to read. I think the timeline with the questions to the brother are key. IMO, she was hurt before the 6 am time frame. SA went to work to make it look like everything was "ok" and then took her somewhere. So.... I'm thinking he left work and then put her somewhere. Does that narrow it down at all? Not sure. Going to look at the maps, where he worked, and back roads from there.

I was thinking the same thing. Something had happened to Haylie in the middle of the night while the mom was asleep. She probably went to work and didn't wake or really check on her. Still trying to ask if he really went to Big Spring that day or where the location in relation to his work and home the cell phone pings are.

and a phone will ping whether it's on or off..as long as the battery hasn't been removed if memory serves me from Caylee's case...

and that would make sense as far as SA's quick trip into work that's driving me nuts!

There is a google map that somebody posted on the find Hailey fb that shows BD and SA employers and different locations of searches and where HD was last seen. Can I copy that link here?

Doing my best to be within TOS rules about myspace, but on the cousin's page, the cousin that is VERY close to Shawn, the one where Billie's label about being "Im Shawn's dirty woman" appeared, the one with the mask photos....

a few hours ago one of his female friends posted a comment (paraphrasing, not linking, or quoting) "I have faith you didn't hurt this girl", clearly referring to HD. The comments before about HD.

Why would someone express their faith that the cousin didn't harm her?

On the night before Hailey’s disappearance, her 16-year-old brother, D., indicated that when he left the house at 9 p.m., Hailey was playing one of his video games in the living room in the house. Based on her skill level with the game, D. said he expected her to play probably until midnight.

The night they are talking about is Sunday night. Dec. 26. I'm pondering on the significance of this paragraph. It acknowledges that Hailey was alive and playing video games (probably the XBox). Its the sentence that states her "skill level" on the game and based on that her approximate play time to probably midnight.

Why would that be important? On Sunday night, Hailey was home playing XBox until at least midnight. Billie said she didn't work Sunday so all 3 of them were there - Hailey, SA and BD.

you can save the game where you left off thus they would probably be able to determine how much longer she was playing by where she finished the game

hmmm....since SA was deleting his earlier tonight, do you think he might be using the cousins? Or else, there's another surprise.

That would mean the neighbor did not see her outside talking on the phone at noon. Which sure could be the case the way this is going....

You might be correct though.

I *thought* (keeping in mind that it has been over 2 years since we all discussed the 'pings') that as long as the battery was in the phone it would ping. My memory ain't what it used to be though..:)

QUOTE:
Nevertheless, Adkins left his place of employment at 6:10 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 27 and told investigators that he went straight to his mother’s house in Big Spring. However, cell phone records indicate that Adkins’ cell phone was in contact with cell towers in Scurry County from 6:35 a.m. until 6:56 a.m., during the time when he said he was traveling to Big Spring.

Billie Dunn left for work at 6:20 a.m. on Dec. 27, and authorities said her cell phone was also in contact with the same cell tower during the same time period.

http://www.ktxs.com/news/26459455/detail.html

So he left work at 6:10 and his phone pinged at 6:35 (25 minute lapse there)

Also the wording - it doesn't say the phones "pinged" - just that they were "in contact" with the same tower.

Does that mean they were communicating with each other and one was in the area and the other was just receiving the call? Or does it mean they were both in the same area? Does it mean they (or the phones) had to have been in separate vehicles?

Those paragraphs are very confusing.

I really wish they would post these docs - I wanna read them on my own.

Good catch. My head is reeling from this new release but I guess BD could have thought the phone was at home when really SA had it in the vehicle. Maybe he was reading HD's texts, seeing who she called while she was at home sleeping. He must have gotten back to the house before noon if the neighbor's accounts of her being on the phone outside at that time are correct. This is very hard to process in my wee brain.

or SA or HD had the phone with them
