That would mean the neighbor did not see her outside talking on the phone at noon. Which sure could be the case the way this is going....

If she walked outside often (as was reported) to talk..I could see the neighbor getting the days mixed up. That's why I didn't put much stock in that myself..

He has a weapons conviction in 2008 too boot.

I believe the info on when she got the itouch actually came from her FB page (HD's), so that part is likely accurate.

I do think it is the cousin posting on his own page, not SA.
But yes, I was thinking she is hearing something at the local level and telling him she doesn't believe it. They are very close, all over each other's pages, the cousin has been posting on topix about what a great guy SA is.

The only way for that to have happened is TWO cars. SA couldn't have left work and driven beck to CCity to pick up BD to go to work in Snyder. Too many miles there to fit and they sure don't have no Ferrari that goes 120+

I'm not defending anyone ever again.

Its odd, i often defend parents (like Johnathan fosters mom and stepdad) but never felt like defending BD much. I was leaning to SO but could never read her one way or another, she came across like a blank slate to me so didn't get emotionally invested in her involvement or lack of.

That said, I still don't think this points to her harming Hailey necessarily. Perhaps a cover up, definitely a liar, but still possible she is not part of it . She did kick him out at least....

not unusual as i have a daughter that works in a trauma unit for people on the same shift to pick one another up especially if their shifts are pretty regular in the que so to speak, with her they take turns driving etc

Wait, hold up - what was SA doing? what was in his hands? what did he say? what did DD do then?

I'm pretty sure SA was cleaning up. But cleaning up what? It seems DD's statement is very very important to this case and that he was quite truthful and credible. With that, I really want to read his affidavit - and especially to hear what happened after DD came throug that window and caught SA "in the headlights".

Oh, another inconsistency - we were under the impression that DD got back home that day (Monday 12/27) at 5PM. The article says he got home at 4. Why is THAT hour (between 4 and 5) so significant?

And this "confrontation" between DD and SA was on Monday 12/27. Remember SA left later to go pick up BD and they took a nice lil ride over to an ATM in Snyder so they could meet up with their connection.

Nobody (at that time) was concerned about Hailey. SA told BD that Hailey had left to stop at dad's and then on to MB's for the night.

Wonder what was going through DD's mind that night? Wonder what DD saw and heard in that house that night?

BD never called MB's to check on Hailey. Did DD tell BD what he saw when he got home?

I really really really hope that DD is with CD tonight. Plus I feel for all the middle schoolers. This is got to be tough on them. First, yesterday and the big meetings with Sparky and how Hailey is alive and in hiding. And now this tonight. I hope they get extra counselors on the campus.

LE could have lied to the kids or made them think that they knew Haylie was in hiding just to get them talking and maybe tell something that they'd heard or knew.

Calming down now after reading tonight's bombshells. What a night.

Reminding myself that so far we know of only 2 crimes:
- lying to police offers and
- illegal drug use/purchase.

We don't know if there is any direct crime against HD at this point and we can still hope she ran to get away from her sad home life. She could be alive. There is still also the possibility that her desire to stay away from the house and wander about made her more vulnerable to a random abduction (not likely, imo, but possible).

I think the reason that I feel so angry with BD right now is her victim mentality. I'm convinced that she's a narc addict - since her second interview. - and I guess that lack of personal accountability goes with it? The skewing of information and selective memory on BD's part is old news in this fast-paced case (though some think it could be denial or unintentional - understandable to think so). Here's the thing though, whatever happened, HD is the victim. HD is the victim. HD is the victim, not BD (unless this turns out to be a random abduction).

BD made choices to bring danger into HD's life. She chose to bring a man who is almost as close in age to her son as he is to her (which would be okay if he was mature and the kids felt secure with him). She chose to have this young man who threatened to kill her family members and gives her daughter the creeps living in her home and alone with her kids. Even if I could throw out the weird crime books and the NY Eve party as irrelevant, she knowingly put her children in serious danger for a guy. Yet,she says she thinks she's a wonderful mother and she makes statements as if she's the victim of LE, the victim of NG (who I think was overly soft on her), the victim of ridiculous gossip, the victim of people telling the truth about HD's life when interviewed, the victim of bad things that CD might do in the future... That for some reason irks me to no end and scares me for HD. I sure hope she really feels that this is about HD and not her. If HD really is alive and hiding, I pray she is not returned to her mother's care without proof that major changes have been made to ensure a safer environment. I also hope that BD is really sincere in wanting HD found safely and that's why she's been on NG and going public. I hope like crazy her actions haven't been to cover up a crime, get attention and/or reel in donations.

Billie's admission in the docs released today...

– Adkins and Billie Dunn made two withdrawals of cash from an ATM machine in Snyder, in Scurry County, at about 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 27 totaling $140. They told investigators the money was for purchasing drugs.

We know she has lied, I just don't know how they thought they were going to explain their stories away..
