I think we are all waiting for news from LE that will help us locate HD. Last night several people on this site were trying to establish the timeline. I keep thinking one of us will have an "AH-HA" moment if we could try to establish one even if it's sketchy. I have read great questions that I don't think have all been answered yet. Where did HD spend the night Sunday night? BO said SA rushed home to be with her when he found out HD was missing--where did he rush home from? If SA lost his job at 6:30am Monday morning and BO started her shift at 7:00am, how did that happen? Was SA confirmed to be at his mom's Monday until 3:00pm? Is it confirmed the neighbor really saw HD at noon on Monday? Did SA tell BO Monday when he picked her up from work that he lost his job? This is important only because of the fact that HD became missing later in the day. If SA lost his job on Monday, why couldn't BO take her own car to work? BO called DD on the cell phone Tuesday to call HD at MB's and tell her to come home. Why then? Did an alarm bell go off in her head? Did she call SA? Where was he? As a parent, I've had moments of panic where my three sons are concerned. BO had a co-worker take her straight to the CCPD. She didn't have a cell phone. Did she try to contact SA before leaving work? I'm trying to put myself in BO's shoes. What would I have done. I absolutely believe in BO and CD. I just think the majority of us are parents and grandparents. If we had a timeline, we would see not only what happened and when, but how everyone reacted to each event as it unfolded. It might open doors for us we hadn't thought of before. LE isn't helping me at all and I'm feeling a little desperate.

I am not sure. I don't want to start rumors and not sure if this is one. However, would the police take over a FB site dedicated to a missing person? And why?

...???... I'm confused.

ETA: Okay - I see the new page, but nothing about LE

I promise not to mention this again...but I still don't understand Dad's GF not remembering whether or not she saw H on Monday afternoon, or simply, when she last saw her. At the time she would have been likely to have been asked (Tuesday evening?) no one was at the stressed-out point they were soon to be. Ok, a new baby interferes with sleep but still. The question would have been "did Hailey come over here yesterday afternoon about 3pm? Or therabouts?"

Okay, I am done.

bbm~
No kidding! Unlucky would be an understatement IF SA had nothing to do with this. He may do well to entertain the possibility that somebody is trying to tell him something if that turns out to be the case..

I am hoping against hope that she has run away..The fact that apparently (at least from what we know) NOTHING has been found gives me a tiny bit of optimism. I was that kind of 13-14 year old...ran away several times..a couple of those times without any pre-planning. Even in those days (way before the internet) my father ALWAYS tracked me down..he really should have been a PI because there were a couple of times that I went to great lengths to cover my tracks as well...and yes, all in my very early teens I'm embarrassed to say..

Definately, with the running away... been there, done that. I have always thought this from the start and I keep going back and forth but, I will throw it out there. I am thinking she did go to MB's - the dogs did lead there to the door. I am thinking she did run away or was taken. Maybe, she met someone somewhere that was in town for Thanksgiving. I don't think anyone has hurt her. She is too pretty.

I understand that it may be simple to us. But I think she probably thought more about it and started doubting herself, and honestly didn't want to hinder the investigation one way or the other, so she just decided to say she couldn't remember. That's just MOO.

Just a word to be on the safe side, FB is your real name, do not reference anything here that could lead to your real identity on FB.

That article above says that her dad said she had not paid him a visit on Monday. Was he home in the afternoon? I thought he wasn't and that is why his GF was the one who was asked...:(

<snip>

[Trooper Sparky] Dean said since there has been no evidence of foul play or criminal activity, he still has hope of finding Hailey alive. A big obstacle, he said, are witnesses who have been deceptive in their answers.

Soooo - someone *did* fail a poly? What'd this statement mean?

There are so many things in that article that are just yuck. I do not like some of the verbage used at all!

i was wondering if they are going to get a specific line for tips. they are giving out the number to the police station and they dont have many people working there. or did they get someone to come in and help with the calls. just think theres people calling wondering if a rumor is true,or how to help family or workers or LE. then the accual tips. maby even people calling just to give them a piece of there mind about not knowing anything or whatever they may be worried about.

is there enough people and recorses to handle all these calls properly and is someone with a valuable tip not able to get thru cause phone is busy?
is ther orginizations to help fund these extra expences put on ccity, we arent the welthiest town. jat

So, LE has not found any evidence, but "information" has been uncovered by residents interviewed by LE, and "information" has been uncovered by land searches. Hmmm.

This actually has me more hopeful on the runaway scenario.

Authorities have not ruled out that Hailey ran away, and they have not found evidence of criminal activity.

“We haven’t found that smoking gun, that bloody knife,” Dean said.

Law enforcement’s goal for the weekend, he said, is to continue to chase leads. Those leads are coming in a variety of ways, he said.

A tip line set up for the missing teen said gotten an average of 30 calls per day according to City Manager Pete Kampfer, who has acted as a spokesman for the Colorado City Police Department. In addition, plainclothes officers have gathered information from residents, and land searches have turned up other information, he said

“Everybody’s a suspect, and nobody’s a suspect,” he said.

Dean said since there has been no evidence of foul play or criminal activity, he still has hope of finding Hailey alive. A big obstacle, he said, are witnesses who have been deceptive in their answers.

or even if they did see or hear the news, they could be jerks & just not care like one of my co-workers when Somer Thompson went missing.

I was watching a presser & I'll never forget what this guy actually said to me "Oh another little white girl missing. Don't they have anything better to do?" :furious:

(Sooo unlike my DBF who called me when he heard the Amber Alert on the radio for little Mitchell Romero....he made sure I knew about it.)

I know here in my little part of world if it not happening here no sense to worry about it:furious: In fact if I bring up amissing child to friends that don;t want to hear it :furious:

IIRC LE had to have sarch warrants or some thing legal to get MN FB and MYS in the Jonathan Foster case.

The person who started the original facebook has mentioned working for the local radio station. The man who owns the station was interviewed on KTAB Thursday night during a live broadcast, and was very complimentary of CCPD's handling of the investigation. He said that they have done an excellent job. He was also very critical of NG alowing BO to make the statements she did on Thursday's show. He said NG should learn to check her sources "like we have to". I got the distinct impression that he did not consider Hailey's Mom to be a reliable source. JMO

I don't know if that has anything to do with whatever is going on with the FB site.

What could a landfill turn up that would still keep runaway in the picture, I wonder...

As far as FB, I have been able to see the original page all day. I think there was a FB glitch and someone freaked and created a new page...
