I am new to WCJD's thread, but I do have a big heart for unidentified teenagers, as I work with special education teenagers who are definitely at-risk for all kinds of maladaptive behaviors, including running away. This said, I usually work on Caledonia Jane Doe's identity, but here I am.

Regarding WCJD hometown, it's possible she could have reached into her hat and pulled out a town in south Texas. When I was 16, living on the East Coast in a mid-Atlantic state, I decided to write a short story about somewhere else. This was 1996, so we had the internet, but it was dial-up; instead, I used an atlas and picked Puyallup, WA.

Point is, WCJD could have done the same. Gone into a library, gone through an atlas or stopped at a convenience store for a map. Just my two cents.:twocents:

Another thought - Were any inmates released the day that WCJD was murdered? She said she was going to meet a friend there. What if she was planning to meet her friend as he was released? What if she did actually meet him and he killed her?

I think Carl was correct in saying the indent on WCJDs cheek likely occurred after death and wasn't present in life. I am looking for an app so I can point out what similarities I see, hopefully I will get that posted sometime today.

Very true,as a teenager your mind is sharp.Another possibility the person she was in love with(if that was the case)could have been from Aransas Pass/Rockport,so she absorbed any info he told her about his history, making it easy to just say"Aransas Pass/Rockport".

Very good point outs! The nose indent spot on,but the eyebrows hummm?

I am not sure if what I'm looking at are shadows, or actual creases of the skin under the brows, either way they match up perfect on the overlay, so does the nose thing.

They were actually dumped in Bolivar behind a store, very sad. They have been identified as two houston women, I haven't heard anything more though.

My daughter dropped my phone in the toilet so I lost my Internet. Lol. I was staying at moody gardens with wife and daughter and the going over to the festival. I did not hear about the bodies. Bolivar spooks me because I think of dean coril and the bodies he buried there

Any news on the possible match with Yvette?

I know the comparison was always going to take several months, but after waiting patiently for two months, I just thought I would check in and see if we have any updates yet.

No one says"I am from Aransas Pass/Rockport area",it's either one or the other. There are two other little towns as well,Ingleside and Fulton and those are connected,so the 11 miles apart is a factor.IMO she was covering her tracks.
I disagree. I lived in Rockport and still have family living there. We often refer to it as the Rockport/Aransas area.

They are neighboring small towns. 11 miles does not separate them. Ingleside and Fulton are not connected. Fulton is connected to Rockport to the East.

I got impatient and asked last week. She said DNA is in the works, although she said the parents(whom I believe are in their 80s) saw the photo and they do not believe it is their daughter. I will update as soon as I know something more.

I meant Ingleside is connected with Aransas Pass,Fulton with Rockport.
But anyway the question still remains as to why she named those two towns?

Like I said, Rockport does connect to Aransas Pass to the west.

Ingleside -> Aransas Pass -> Rockport -> Fulton

Maybe like me, I mention both names when I'm talking to someone about going down to the coast. If they don't recognize one name, they usually recognize the other.
