Her behavior absolutely fascinates me. Did she manufacture an alternate reality for Lopez with the end result in mind, or did she start this whole kooky affair for attention, and it sort of took on a life of its own?

If no one got murdered, this whole scenario would be a madcap escapade/comedy.

Not at all -- just means the court dates are not readily accessible and will have to keep up with the news media for alerts.

JF added an additional lawyer to her team.

Both the defense and federal prosecutor agreed on joint motion to continue Jury Trial next 2/28/2022.

Her holiday shopping days are over. She sent her wannabe lover a big screen TV last year.. I hope he talks and talks..

@Niner -- no updates for DL since the federal grand jury indictment handed down last March. The federal case will not likely be heard until his state case in Texas concludes. :)

So - I take it the 11/12/21 for Faith is not going to happen? I noticed in the summaries you posted - it said next was pretrial hearing 2/25/22 - just a few days before trial.

Yes, I believe 11/12 was stricken when there was no longer a jury trial on 11/15/21.
The superseding indictment last Sept - Docket #25 ended that when a new case number was created.

*Announcement Hearing (Murder) (@ 9am CT) – TX – James (Jaime) Faith (49) (Oct. 9, 2020, fatally shot while walking dog, Dallas) - *Darrin Ruben Lopez (48/now 49) (BF) arrested & charged (1/11/21) & indicted (2/5/21) with murder. $1M bond.
Extradited from TN to TX January, 2021.
Trial set to begin on 2/24/22.
5/14/21 Update: Initial appearance. Next announcement hearing on 6/17/21 which was rescheduled to 7/8/21 & rescheduled to 9/3/21.

*Announcement Hearing (Murder) (@ 9am CT) – TX – James (Jaime) Faith (49) (Oct. 9, 2020, fatally shot while walking dog, Dallas) - *Darrin Ruben Lopez (48/now 49) (BF) arrested & charged (1/11/21) & indicted (2/5/21) with murder. $1M bond.
Extradited from TN to TX January, 2021.
Trial set to begin on 2/24/22.
5/14/21 Update: Initial appearance. Next announcement hearing on 6/17/21 which was rescheduled to 7/8/21 & rescheduled to 9/3/21.
9/3/21 Update: Announcement hearing rescheduled on 10/1/21. 10/1/21 Update: Announcement hearing rescheduled on 11/5/21. Pretrial hearing on 1/19/22 & trial set to begin on 2/24/22.

Interesting that the alleged co-conspirators' trials are scheduled to begin 4 days apart. I'm expecting DL to turn on JF.

Faith's is a Federal trial & Lopez is State - just wanted to point that out. Lopez has no Federal hearing scheduled at this time.

I wonder if DL will be offered anything in exchange for testifying against his High School sweetheart?

I'm leaning towards no. It looks as if there is plenty of evidence to convict Mrs. F as things stand. But surely, DL will be a prosecution witness?
