Yes, that is how it looks to me. Laid out flat with the shirt placed over it. But I'll be honest, this reminds me of a case many years ago where a girl was out in the cold and stripped all her clothes off as she was running, also from a car. In that one they declared hypothermia resulting in paradoxical undressing. So JMO.
But depending on the watch type, it might just have flattened itself out when removed. Some don't flop around, but are inclined to stay flat. I could not tell, though. Was it shoes off then shirt, or shirt, then shoes? It the one video, the father was parked right next to the underwear, with shorts and sock visible ahead. If I were to track backwards, I think it would be watch (removed first because a lot of people take off their watch before removing a shirt), shirt, shoes (in the father's video, facing different directions, yet close together), socks (far apart), shorts (or one sock, shorts, the other sock), then underwear. That, to me, seems like paradoxical undressing.
It is such a shame that all of the land in the near vicinity could not have been searched way back when.
